Dwayne missed the 36th qualifying spot on speed by only 13/1000s of a second. The back luck came when he hit the gas taking the green flag for qualifying a instantly dropped a cylinder. The car smoked and choked around the 2 mile Michigan track ... and he still almost made the show.
