I have tried not to become involved in any of this feuding between members. I do not pretend to know what it is all actually about. Nor do I care. The reason that I'm part of AtW is to have fun. It is a diversoion from real life. In keeping with that, the disputes of real life should be kept out. That is what makes the diversion that is AtW enjoyable.
Lately, dissagreements of real life have come to the forum. I do not know why. Perhaps because one or both parties were inequipped to deal with it in real life. Real life, however, is the proper place to deal with it. The forum, is not. People have been insulting each other, using and insulting others to attack the one with whom they have a quarrel, and even impersonating other members in their posts. To use such methods in attacks that should not be in the forum in the first place I find absolutely despicable. I have had enough of reading about these petty squabbles.
The proper way to deal with this would be face to face, in person. If you are not capable of dealing with each other in person, then there is a perfectly impersonal way to deal with it. This method is called e-mail. This will keep real life problems out of the forum, and allow the rest of us to enjoy our diversion.
If your problems with another member are so severe that you cannot stand to post on the same message board as them without insulting them, then don't post. No one is requireing you to be here, to read the forum or quest, nor to post on either. I believe that I speak for most everyone in the clan when I say that I don't want to see any more such posts, not in the forum, nor in the quest, ever again.

I agree totally with this. I'm totally unaware of the problems facing the two people arguing, and neither do i care. The clan was formed on a basis of just some people who could have a bit of fun online. Both on quest and in Online games. It was a place to share gaming experiences and to just chill out from the real world.
Do any of us deny the escapism of gaming or the quest? Both are just methods by which we escape from the real world for a short period of time and immerse ourselves in something we find interesting and 'fun'. The real world has little to do with the forum except perhaps to support each other. I know I've used it in the past to vent off some sort of anger/depression just by complaining on the board BUT i have never attacked anyone online and I would rather have a board where this unspoken 'rule' is upheld.
I do not wish Joey to have to resort to 'orge'ism but if that's the only way to return the forum back to a place where discussion instead of a flame war is held then I would not blame joey for exptreme measures.
I hope like hell that this doesn't have to occur cause it would just make people more pissed off and probably end up with a bigger mess for joey to fix up.
I suppose the only thing to add would be. Come on people act your age. GROW UP! While childhood is fleeting and maturity is forever, no-one ever said that some parts of maturity are bad. Use your brains instead of thinking with your hormones.

but anyway, our clan is made up of ppl and when there are ppl there are opinions, disagreements ..hence arguments and spastic fights =P (o the good ol days wif ardo hehe)
neway, for some of us atw maybe part of life and not any kind of escapism. So.. we may bring our "real life" problems and opinions to it?
BUT when big arguments come about it IS appreciated that the individuals involved sort it out by themselves so not to disturb/involve others whom wish not to hear about it... or simply for the sake of the clan.
..yer well when u think about it and compare us to say a small company, same deal. Difference is we tend to argue for no apparent reason cuz there really should b no life threatening situations or anything involving billions of dollars heheehe =P
anyway thats my 2 cents, o o and doesnt mean i exercise my points perfectly either n u know it =] no ones perfect.. but dEnG as AtW we are close to it hohoho ^^
