OOC-don't double post, for one. Second, OOC notes are generally against the rules (I know I had one, but that was cuz it was long and important and I had no idea when Joey was next gonna post so i was getting impatient). Third, check your e-mail (Xandim07@home.com).

IC--Drask was in the real world, as was the daemon. It didn't seem clever enough to make copies of itself on its own... only when struck. Perhaps it was a child. And if so, then it could not be killed until it had killed. That would be why Drask hadn't been able to kill it in the dream world. Drask yelled that out, hoping someone would hear and perhaps pay attention.
Naurelis prayed to Gaia, asking her to send a sacrifice, and begging her forgiveness for the actions her water-brother caused her to do. A dove flew down to the daemon, and circled its head, whizzing by its eyes close enough that the feathers almost brushed the sightless orbs. Unthinking, the daemon reached up and snatched the hapless bird from the air, crushing it in its clenched fist and letting its blood flow down upon the ground while Naur wept in grief and horror.
Di'Ethe and Drask pressed the attack on the now vulnerable daemon, and soon blood flowed upon the ground. Simulacra and Shadows whizzed around, cut down by spells and swords and arrows, but the daemon-child stayed alive, battling desperately.
A voice sounded over the earth, dark and menacing: 'Kill her.'
A dark face cackled in the falling night--Neit was gaining power as the World Artifacts began to fall into her hands. Romu, in the meantime, put his armor back on.
OOC--Romu? Just what exactly ARE you doing with your character?

What do you do when your dreams come true, but it's not quite like you planned?

IC - The former home of the AtW had been raided by Neit and her followers, it's magical barrier destroyed. Neit stationed a round 100 of her undead minions into this realm, along with one to rule them all - Xandim. The guards remained motionless at the front gates, along with the temple, arena, and other important figures. Xandim had summoned a throne at the arena and sat their, staring at the soft sand of the arena. With every passing moment he became more enraged, awaiting a fight.
A day had passed since he moved a throne to this spot, and he grew tiredsome of waiting. "If they shall not come to me, I shall come to them!" Xandim roared, echoing off the land. Silence soon fell as the daemon fashioned a new sword. Perhaps even darker than this 9 foot daemon, whose menacing body would cause a troll to scream for his mommy, was his black sword. 5 foot blade, with the ability to be wielded two hand or one, this sword contained many of the spirits slain by one of Neit's followers, which had been stripped from this individual and given to Xandim by Neit herself. As he strode towards the front gate, a vague cry for help could be heard coming from this blade. Out the gates he strode, his minions remaining behind.

Although mighty, the AtW were having a hell of a time with a child of Neit. This child was almost making a mockery of them. The mighty Di'Eithe and Drask could not slay him, not even the elf Valdici could weaken him. Naur could not hinder his movements... and Romolus was having fun adjusting his jock strap nearby.(OOC - Sorry those who i forgot who are still posting)Yet through all this, it was not slowing down in movement, and a third twin had appeared. The fight raged on, all of the AtW growing weak with the lenghty battle.
"Rackrogran, vi de sho me ker varishom" a monotone voice rang out over this battle field, all parties stopping to see who was speaking it. It was Xandims former master. Again he spoke this strange tongue, and the monster became one. A small bead of sweat dropped down the masters face, his concentration fierce. vAl glanced at the demon they had been fighting, it was struggling to move, his arms twitching yet not moving. "Vi ra ki, vi ra ki!" this voice rang out, the monster remaining motionless. vAldici needed no more convincement as to what was going on. The demon was being immobilized, defenseless. "ATTACK" vAl screamed, Drask and Di'Ethe immediately swung, expecting a sword to parry, yet it never happened. Drask and Di'Ethe made swordsplay out of the immolized demon. Within a few mintues the demon lay dead on the ground, its blood and inners strewn out over the battlefield.
"This foul being is only one of many. Neit has her hands on a few of the world artifacts, and used them to her advantage. This was created not to long ago, as more of a diversion. While this one has yet to reach its teens, the others Neit has created will be there shortly. You must strike now..." Xandim's master warned, before remaining silent, and disappearing shortly after when the AtW began inspecting themselves for injuries.
THUMPCRASH a tree toppled over nearby, diverting everyone's attention. With a snarl, Xandim strode forward, controlling his anger, standing in front of the AtW. Amazed at what their ally had become, no one could speak. Xandim raised his unholy blade, allowing somoene to step forward to face their doom.

IC:
They were done for. Watching from the woods near by, still unknown to all around him, Tam saw what was happening. And he knew that the end was soon to come. They had made a grave mistake. The pentagram had to be destroyed form its location in this world, and in the demonic dimension. Otherwise, demons would still be able to use it to enter this world.
And now there was another demon. Yet something was wrong with this one. The others, fighting for their lives, had not noticed, but Tam had. There was good buried somewhere deep within it.
Then Tam, not wrapped up within the battle, noticed something else about it. It was very familiar, as if it were a brother of his. Then he realized: it was Xandim.
He could kill it. It was in front of him, its back to him, it did not know that he was there. One arrow. That was it. But he could not. It was his brikari. The arrow was drawn, and this demon would be dead in a split second, but Tam could not fire on one of his bretheren. Even if it would save the lives of his other brethern?
And then the new Xandim/demon strode onto the pentagram. Tam knew what he must do. As much as it pained him to do so, he did not hesitate.
The arrow was loosed, and in a split second had pierced the Xandim/demon through the neck, between the second and third vertabrae.
It was dead.
Or at least the corporal demon form was.
The Xandim/demon had been part of both worlds, and when it had stepped on the pentagram, Tam had been able to sense the connection with both worlds. The body of the Xandim/demon was dead, but the spirit still existed in both worlds. The body at the center of the pentagram was now Xandims.
Tam rushed into the center of the pentagram, ignoring his other brethern, kneeling by the body of Xandim, and falling immediately into prayr. He could sense the connection: Xandim in this world, Xandim in the demon world, the demon in this world, and the demon in the demon world.
No, that was not entirely correct, for there was no seperate demon, it was just the evil instincts within Xandim. But there was part of him in each world, and he therefore could still close the gateway between worlds and prevent more demons from entering through the pentagram. But this could only happen if the true Xandim, their brikari, overcame the demonic influences within himself.
Tam was able to sense all this as he went into prayr over Xandim. He prayed, lending all his strength and goodness to Xandim to overcome the dark power. Xandim could close the demonic portal. It would require sacrifice from Xandim from within, as part of him would be on each side of the portal when it was closed, and thus he would loose a small part of his very sould which would remian in the demonic dimension. The good within Xandim would have to win, or he would never do it, and right now he was the only one who could do it. Much depended on Xandim's inner strugle between good and evil.
So Tam sent his entire will to aid the good within Xandim, that it might win out and Xandim might close the portal between this and the demonic world from the demon's side.
None of the others remarked on the sudden apperance of Tam and Xandim, as they were busy fighting the first demon. Nor did Tam have time to acknowledge them, before he threw his entire sould into Xandim, hoping to win the good within him to the front, so that he would destroy the pentagram.
Tam knew that this was all important, as if the portal was not closed, more demons would simply follow this one already here. He tried to convey that to Xandim through the prayrer. H coaxed the good within Xandim forward. Ultimately, however, everything depended on the fight of good and evil between the different parts of Xandim's soul.
