Your quote in German is right ON. You've got it-- thankfully. Whew! I couldn't have said it better myself. And creating value HERE in THIS forum RATHER than arguing elsewhere is ANOTHER wonderful way to state the case.

There's another wonderful quote that I find useful: "If it is to be, it's up to me". In other words, to create value in this forum will require YOUR dedication and perseverence. I'll certainly be here to answer questions and so on but for the most part, this is YOUR baby.

I have a friend in cryonics who has told me that "persuasion" doesn't work. I keep telling him that that's not true-- that human beings CAN often be open to reason AND persuasion.
