What if this forum crashes or is closed down?
It would be of value to store the main messages in a backup or mirror site somewhere.
That is one important reason for being able to easily forward or cross post any message!!!!
E.g. the Forum editor should be able to sort the messages chronologically and make a backup of these,
or forward all posts automatically to a letter group or a web site or some other backup media, that is set up with the purpose of being a mirror site or archieve for all past messages.
Otherwise it would be quite a set back each time or when the forum crashes/is shut down. E.g. years of work would then easily be lost.
It would be solved if all posts were automatically forwarded to an e-mail address of the Forum editor's own choice.
Alternatingly I would have to manually cut and paste the most valuable posts, that is cumbersome!Or I would have to have my best articles at my web site, and use this forum to point to my web site.
That way my best posts would eb at my web site and on my computer and my own back up devices,
but the best posts to this forum would not be backed up, neither my best posts or the best posts of others.
How get around this ?

Sincerely,

Trygve
