Now about "cross-posting". I have to say that I see this as completely unneccessary. I NEVER cross post. Everything you see in this forum by me has been PUT here by me. I don't do ANY cutting and pasting. That is a complete waste of time and effort. How can I convince you of that?
The ONLY element that I think you should have that appears in CryoNet is ONE LINK up to ONCE A DAY along with a short descriptive paragraph about what's new here.
THAT method will attract MORE attention than ALL THE CROSS POSTING IN THE WORLD! If you don't believe me, why not just TRY it! Set aside your desire to cross-post and just TRY it my way for one month. You said earlier you'd be willing to try it my way-- well?
Do me a favor-- in return for my setting this forum up for you. Post ONE LINK to here on CryoNet today-- right now-- along with a short paragraph concerning what the new subjects are. If you do this for 7 days in a row, I'll BET you get more visitors here along with MORE interesting and positive comments.
Will you TRY it that way for a month? Forget about cross-posting all together. Where ever you got the idea that cross posting as many messages as you can gains you advantages is beyond me. Quite honestly, when I see multiple cross posted messages in other forums, I curse under my breath and pass right over them.
Boy, it sure takes a lot to convince you of trying something! Sheesh.
