Danny fires ecto blasts at some of the HEartless while Sora uses combos to get rid of a few.
Sora: Yoda!
Sora called forth Yoda who appears and attack the Heartless with his lightsaber.
Yoda: Fight well, you do.
Sora: Thanks.
Max: Let's round them up, partner!
Max opens fire on the Heartless as the group continues fighting their way through the Heartless. Soon they made it through the course and met up with two familiar characters (well to Sam and Max anyway).
Sam: Look, Max, it's our old pals Izzy and Tentomon!
Gaz: I supposed we're looking for them?
The boy and his Digimon partner turns and sees the group.
Izzy: (confused) Huh? What's this? Did you guys finished the prelims.
Tentomon: It seems like it.
Sora: Yep! We're ready for the cup!
Tentomon: Well, youi came to the right place.
Izzy: Of course, against the Digidestined, I doubt it.
Tommy: Aw, why not?
Izzy: You guys ain't Digidestined.
Tentomon: Come on, Izzy, give them a shot.
Danny: Well, Digidestined or no, we're heroes, pal.
Sora: How can we prove ourselves if you don't give us a chance?
Familiar voice: They got a point, Izzy.
The group sees a familiar group of kids and their Digimon appearing. Davis, the one who spoek, continued.
Davis: They made it through the prelims so they deserve to show us what they got.
Izzy: Well, you made a point for once, Davis.
Davis: (annoyed) Hey!
Kari: Of course, we can still cancel the games.
Max: (shocked) Cancel?! Why?!
Gatomon: Well, Tentomon was in charge of the course and it was so hard, no one could finish it.
Tentomon: (sweatdrop) It isn't my fault some of the Digimon help out in making it.
Armadillomon: Shucks, I thought it makes thing interesting.
Sora: Is that true?
Izzy: No it isn't.
Danny: Tell you what: let us complete and you won't have to cancel them.
Ken: Good idea, whoever you are. So how about it, Izzy?
Izzy paused to think and turned away for as moment. Then he turns back as he sighs.
Izzy: Well, I got you got me guys over a barrel...
Max: (singing offkey) And through the woods, to grandmother's house we go!
Sora's group: (annoyed) Max!
Max: What?!
Tentomon: Well, since you guys and the Diigdestined are the only fighters...
Shrek's Voice: Don't think so, lad.
Shrek appears onto the scene, much to the surprise of Sam and Max.
Sam: Shrek?
Shrek: Don't know who ye knew my name, but aye. The games got a new challenger. The name is Shrek.
Patamon: Cool! The more the merrier.
Paul's Voice: And let's not forget me.
Paul and the Mean Team appears on their faces.
Tommy: (frowning) Not you guys again.
Purple: Stuff it, kid. We just made it through the prelims as well. We're ready to enter.
Izzy: All right. The games really got something to see.
Davis: (smirking) We have look forward to this. Don't expect us to pull back any of our attacks.
Hawkmon: As long as they aren't fatal, of course.
Yolei: (smiling) Always that way, eh Hawkmon?
Sora: Just so we don't have to take them. We'rre ready to give it our best shot.
Shrek: Aye.
Izzy: Now let's get this show on the road. Everyone, go!
The contenders get ready to begin but Tentomon stops them.
Tentomon: Whoa, whoa, time out!
The group fell to the ground, groaning.
Tentomon: (sweatdrop) Hee hee. Almost forgot the rules.
Gaz: (annoyed) Well say them, bug man!
Evil Cream: (anger mark) Before we squash you!
Tentomon: Okay. The first one through the obstacle is the winner. In the event of a tie, a battle will decide who wins. Also, you can interfere with your opponents at any time. And finally, give it everything they got.
The contenders nodded as they lined back up, ready to contginue.
