Let's face it: H!'s run didn't leave it much time for many new topics. So what are some eppy/single sketch ideas you wanted to see?

I myself woulda loved a whole Japan eppy-but then, I decided to write it myself...

A Muslim eppy woulda been cool...(Sept. 11 attacks or not)

Perhaps another eppy focusing on other parts of the ancient world...like Persia, Mesopotamia, and even a bit of the Hittites.

...And a Delaware eppy. Though it was really summed up in one sketch.

Well, if they move FORWARD in time, then you can't really call it "Histeria." "Futuresteria", maybe.

I would pick out more stuff from American History. Hey, come to think of it, I did! Look at MY faneppy on this list! No one has reveiwed it yet! Please do!

(Sorry about the shameless plug. It had to go somewhere.)

Well...

The Age of Federalism ep would be cool. Better yet, a Virginia ep! There would be so much to cover. Perhaps a Founding Fathers ep...they really didn't get into too many of the Framers. Or, or, a Transcendentalism episode! Ya know, with Thoreau, Emerson, Hawthorn, Melville, all those guys. Uhhh...(I'm trying to think :)) How about something on Daniel Webster, John C. Calhoun, Henry Clay, John Marshall...those guys. Though I can't think of a generalized group comprosied of them. I could go on...lol

Ideas? *shrug*

Um, B.B., didn't you have a Muslim ep on the old board? I distinctly remember the Tours sketch. As to suggestions, well, considering what's going on in MLB I thot sports history might be worth a look. Going back to the last quarter of the last century, seeing how things were in organized baseball before things stabilized. For instance, dyk the team which is now the New York Yankees was originally the original Baltimore Orioles of the National League? With a lineup including Wee Willie Keeler, John J. McGraw, & Dan Brouthers. But how to Histeriize the concept? Dunno. Well, that's my $2 (inflation).

Well....

November 26 2001, 3:07 PM

"Psychology Today and Yesterday" was born out of a need to see something psychology-oriented...but there's a wealth of information that can easily be funnelled into a couple of sketches (like a bit on Francis Galton's pharmaceutical experiments which I wrote later and posted here someplace). I considered Thomas Fechner at one point, who suffered from a neurotic condition that was cured by performance of repetitive tasks and an odd diet of raw ham marianted in wine and lemon juice...but how to make it funny?

Then there was Mss Info's interview with Doc Holliday. I wondered if someone could interview Ike Clanton, one of the two men who escaped uninjured (the other lived thanks to his excellent marksmanship) who turned tail and ran away from the gunfight, and figure out why he was such a big wussy. Interrestingly enough, Holliday suffered from tuberculosis (hence his cough) and was so skinny they said a bullet couldn't hit him if he stood sideways. This was disproven during the fight when a slug got him in the hip....
