Besides the reuniting of Germany, the downfall of the communist states in Eastern Europe also brought the re-appearance of the German watch industry.

The small Saxonian town of Glashütte is the home of the German watchmaking tradition and made its way back as the origin of the finest German watches.

This forum is the place where watches produced by "Glashuette Original" and its subsidiary, "Union Glashuette" are discussed. It is our goal to provide the highest quality, most accurate information possible about these wonderful watches, their manufacturer, their history and their future.
