Hi there ,
I am in full training for the London Marathon due at the end of April but had booked 2 1/2 weeks holiday from mid February - early March. In this time, I will be travelling in India and don't expect to be able to get much running in . Any suggestions how I should approach this break in the schedule? Prepare as if for a race in February, taper off and restart again in March ? Any other ideas?
Thanks

Running in India

No score for this post

I just returned from India on business. I took my running shoes and I actually kept up with my running. The start their day sort of late, so I kept my same waking schedule and used the time to run. I got lots of stairs from the locals, but mostly in a positive way, but was definately noticed and definately felt a little odd. But, hey, I don't know them, and they don't know me. They may occasionally say "remember the time that westerner was running around here...", Nevertheless, I kept my training up, and actually lost a little weight on the trip. You can do it if you make it a priority.
