Hello from California! I've been looking for photos of the Bullard-Ray House (at 650 Washington St., Eden) for some time, but haven't yet located any. My great-great-grandfather, John Hall Bullard, built the place and Annie Morehead Bullard-Ray was his daughter. I'd love to get pictures of it... old ones and new ones, preferably. Anyone have any ideas? I'd be glad to pay (a reasonable fee) for both old and new photos.
I'm also seeking someone to take photos of John Hall Bullard's grave stone at the Church of the Epiphany Cemetery (if it's still named that). He died in 1870.
On a side note, my great-great-grandfather also built and equipped the old cotton mill at Spray for John Motley Morehead, owner at the time. He also prevented it from being burned during the Civil War because he happened to have attended school with General Stoneham, who decided not to destroy the place in the interest of old friendships.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
