well, i am here for the 1st time and i am so thrilled. this is a wonderful website! i was born in leaksville in 1950, and i AM moving back asap. my parents moved back 5 years ago after being gone for many many years. i went to burton grove in third grade, and then to greensboro, high school and raleigh, and then to richmond VA. lived in richmond area for over 30 yrs. i want to move back to eden sooooo much!
remember going to movies on sat. for 25 cents in Leaksville! (sometimes too scared to come out!) remember the chicken salad from Edwards market, down below the theatre??? my aunt worked at pace and stone for many years, she was hazel stevens.

i love this site! oh yes, and going to Sealtest....and eating in the car with the tray on the door!!!!! those were the days!
