I recognized your name as (1) sister of my classmate James and (2) a school friend of my sister Billie Jean, TCHS '55. Billie has made her life in WA State but spent nearly a year here around and after our mother's death. Billie had her "sabattical" here 9/01-7/02, and while here was put in touch (through Hugh Chatham of Jamestown, NC) with Henry Richards, the English & Speech teacher fro her time at Tri-City. She even magaged to visit him in his retirement placement (V.A. facility in Asheville) while she was seeing the mountains. Bille has been widowed for about 5 years, has three children (one in WA, one in MD & one in CA)and the world's most perfect 3 1/2 year old grand-daughter (her kids are getting a later start than most). She is a retired Special Ed teacher but is keeping very busy in her retirement as a substitute. In NC she maintains contact with a fellow Price Road girl Addie Dyer and with Mary Hinternhoff Sugioka in Chapel Hill. Mary is retired from developmental pediatriacs at UNC. It was funny to run into her in that capacity a number of years ago in my proffessional social work role, and had to introduce myself as "Billie Jean's little sister." I will be working with your sister-in-law Lynda and others on our 40th class reunion for next year. And just think, we're your YOUNGER siblings. I will give Billie your regards. Kate Holman
