I think every book has started with Harry at the and wondering how he'll get out ( exception being book 1 duh) 2 ron, fred and george w/ the car
3 blows up aunt marge, takes knight bus
4 quittich world cup w/ weasleys getting him out
5 the advance gaurd
correct me if im wrong on those. But anyway, at the end of the book he always thinks his summer will be better cause of somthing or other. But at the beginning of next book it never is better. Of course in ootp moody scares uncle vernon and they tell him to write and theyll get him soon. do u think book 6 will b different? and if not how will they get himout? i dont think it will b diffent but have no clue how JKR will get him out this time.

probably something will go wrong and harry will call mrs. figg and the order will come and get him and take him away. thats my best guess.
*"You two," Umbridge says, gazing down at Fred and George, "are about to learn what happens to wrongdoers at my school."
"You know what?" said Fred. "I don't think we are."
He turned to his twin.
"George," said Fred, "I think we've outgrown full-time education."
"Yeah, I've been feeling that way myself," said George lighty.
"Time to test our talents in the real world, d'you reckon?" asked Fred.
"Definitely," said George.
And before Umbridge could say a word, they raised their wands and and said together, "Accio Brooms!"
"We won't be seeing you," Fred told Professor Umbridge, swinging his leg over the broom.
"Yeah, don't bother keeping in touch," said George, mounting his own.
"STOP THEM!" shrieked Umbridge, but it was too late.As the Inquisitorial Squad closed in, Fred and George kicked off from the ground and shot fifteen feet in the air. Fred looked across the hall at the poltergeist bobbing on his level above the crowd.
"Give her hell from us, Peeves."
And Peeves, whom Harry had never seen take an order from a student before, swept his belled hat from his head and sprang to a salute as Fred and George wheeled about to tumultous applause from the students below and sped out of the open front door into the glorius sunset.

Hmmm, Harry is 15 right? That means he will be turning 16 this summer, so that means he'll get his lisense (unless England in diferent than the U.S) So maybe he will just drive away?

actually, i doubt that harry would just drive away. i mean, fred and george dont drive to my knowledge. they should have had their drivers licsence one year ago. Anyway (dont quote me on this) but dont you have to wait untill your older for a drivers liscence in england? *people who live in england, please help!*

I have noticed this formula is getting dull of late.
HP Formula:
Boy has lousy summer.
Boy screws something up and ticks off aunt and uncle.
Boy runs/saved from family.
Boy has long year inculding flying on broom, and facing voldy.
Boy gets all emotional, because of the tragic situation.
Boy goes home, regretting it.
I find it funny that the "main climax" always happens at the end of the school year. It's like voldemorte says to his followers: "no, we can't get really active till the very end of his school year. God forbid harry miss an exam and fail out, so i can kill him easier"
:)

Well my bet is book six will have a lot of action in it, especially if Voldemort will have a more powerful reign of terror then the last time.
I think the summer for him will be the same, but a little easier on him since Moody and the gang sceared the crap out of him.

I think he'll finally have a talk with Petunia and find out more, but not all, about his mother. I think that this may open the way for a somewhat better relationship between the two. I also think there is apossiblity that the death eaters will kill the Dursleys this summer.

I must admit that the idea of having the Dursley's killed just so it is easier for Voldemort to get to Harry never crossed my mind. I can see that happening.

I never though of that. Which brings up one of my questions with unknown answer. Do the Dursley's have a guard? We know that Harry has one but what about them. If his aunt dies the protection goes with her.

I'm sure they must have a guard. Harry probably just never thought enough to ask is my opinion.
You know, the only reason I could see Harry getting a driver's license is just so he could rub it in Dudley's face because I'm sure he is too dumb to actually pass the test.

well, as the Dursleys are very lenient towards Dudley, I'm pretty sure they'll find a way to get him a driver's licence, and they'll buy him the best car around...
Anyway, yeah, I never thought about the Dursleys killed, because seeing their relationship with Harry it would have been too good to be true... I wonder if they do die, will Harry be at least a little bit sorry? I'm sure Dumbledore will....

Yeah maybe you're right Harry never asks about some important things.
Yup Dudley can't get a car because he doesn't know what the green light and the red light mean. Although his fattness could be another reason. He can't fit in a car. Come to think of it I feel so sorry for his bike it must be amazeling strong to not break under his weight.

Ok, here's an idea. What if Vernon and Dudley are cursed or killed, but Petunia survives. Perhaps Dumbledore would hide Petunia in some wizard sanctuary such as Grimmauld. She could put her cleaning skills to work, and Molly always wanted a house elf - ha ha.
Maybe Petunia would then tell Harry everything she knows.
On the other hand, we don't know what Petunia is getting for keeping Harry. If it is protection, a guard of some kind, as you have mentioned, perhaps nothing can hapen to the residents of Privet Drive.

Dumbledore said that as long as Harry called Privet Drive "home" that he would be safe there... so I guess even if Petunia dies he may still have the protection if he lives there, but i doubt it seeing as the connection lives through the blood.
Its possible that Voldy will kidnap/kill Dudley, forcing the Dursley's to face the wizarding world....

Am I imagining things, or has Harry refered to other places as "home" before, I.e. The burrow or hogwarts? I'm pretty sure he has, but that might have just been the movies messing with my head.
