what is so important about the hogwarts ghosts? i know nearly headless nick has done some important things, but what about peeves, the bloody barron, the fat frair, and the other ghosts? what is their purpose in the stories?

i've speculated about this 54789 times.

in the books there are subtle clues that ghosts can hold objects. so if they can, why couldn't they help fight in this war? throw solid books on peoples heads etc. if can go against them or for them.

plus i was reading something on.. some website... and it said that the grey lady would be back in the next books.. so i think the ghosts will play a part in the war.

I read a book that had ghost fighting against the evil people. Of course the evil people were, God(cept he sorta died) and his angels and all the prests, nuns, and really religous people in all the worlds but that's irrelevent.
