Identity and Seven both a dissapointment

first of all, I'd like to say happy halloween to all of you! It was a great year for me, being the only one in a while where Halloween was actually on a Friday.
So after a halloween night of overdosing on sugar and alcohol, on Saturday night me and some of my friends rented some scary movies to observe the holiday. We rented Identity, Seven, and Silence of the Lambs. We decided not to watch silence of the lambs since all of us had already seen it.
Well, it turns out our decisions sucked. I was dissapointed by both.
the following sections has lots of spoilers from both movies, so if oyu haven't seen them and plan on seeing soon, don't read it.

Identity was exellent up until the very end when the little kid shows up and gives us the little line "whores don't get a second chance." I mean come on, he's a little kid, Paris could've taken him, whether he had a rake or not. Why didn't she just tackle the damn little kid and choke him.
I mean, whose going to go to bed after seeing that movie and be afraid that a little kid is going to get them?

Seven I had extremely high expectations for, since Kevin Spacey is me favorite actor right now. But, again, I was dissapointed. There were no surprises, the "amazing" ending was so predictable, all of us had guessed what it was going to be by the time Brad Pitt's "package" arrived. I mean, yeah, the corpses of all the dead bodies were nasty, and thinking about the "sloth" victim being tortured for an entire year while bound to a bed does freak me out, I thought overall the movie wasn't all that great.

"from the blackouts and your bloodred eyes, try to start looking for a brighter side, and waiting for a sign. Welcome home outcast, everything will be allright."

Haven't seen Identity.

I liked Seven. It wasn't very scary but it had an OK plot, even though the ending was predictable. I don't think they should have had the head-sized square package at the end. Heads always come in those!

I didn't like Kevin Spacey or Brad Pitt in that. Pitt didn't suit his character and was obviously picked on reputation instead of acting ability.

Spacey was OK but I can think of a few actors who could do better.

This is the end, Beautiful friend
This is the end, Beautiful friend
This is the end, My only friend, the end
It hurts to set you free
But you'll never follow me

The end of laughter and soft lies
The end of nights we tried to die
This is the end

RIP Jim Morrison
