But, I certainly do not remember Snape being "terrified" of werewolves. The only time I recall Snape being scared or uneasy is when hearing Voldemort's name spoken.

I think it said somewhere hat he was, I can't remember. He certainly hates them. He had been terrified of it when Sirius tricked him into going down the tunnel and seeing Lupin changed. I need to read that book again. Especially the chapter where Snape nearly throws the map in the fire - because it'll be interesting knowing about the Occlumens now.

I agree with you Riddle, the more Snape the merrier, however... Snape wouldn't shield the kids with himself like that! AND the kids wouldn't be hiding behind him in fear. I know they have to make a few changes to shorten it, but changing one of the best character's personality is wrong! Hell, if they have to make changes, can't they at least give Lucius a small role in there again?

I just checked the text to be sure...Snape is still knocked out when Lupin transforms.  Ron is on the ground, and Harry and Hermione run off to help Sirius, who is now hurt down by the lake. 

 

We can only hope that if JKR let this pass, it was because she is so involved in writing book 6 to worry about it.

That pic of Snape with Harry and the gang really reminds of the picture the was in Entertainment Weekly with Lockhart and Harry and the gang. I get the impression the this particular pic isn't from an actual movie scene. It seems to be more a promotional photo. Not that it makes it any good because everyone is right. Snape would never use himself to shield Harry and his sidekicks!

Severus, you could be right.  Movie promo material...just an opportunity to show the major characters.

This whole movie has just gotten worse and worse as we've found out more info! how can you change the storyline? its so wrong!

This is a higher defieniton version of the pic with Dumbledore blessing the almighty owl thingy. Notice Lupin in the right hand corner. Is it just me, or does he look an awful lot like hitler in that picture?
