Snape theory (mind you, Snape has to be a bad guy for this to work)

I was thinking about this as i read the book for the third time.
When Snapey-poo is teaching Harry Occlumency, he probes Harry's mind and see's a flash of Cho and Harry under that damn Mistletoe. If Snape turns out to be Voldy's spy, then he could use that against Harry. I have a feeling that Harry and CHo may get back together, and if they do, Snape or Voldy could use a spell like the Imperius curse to control Cho, thus having an effective weapon against him; use her as bait, or whatnot.
What think you all?

I hope Snape never finds out that Cho and Harry broke up...then tells Voldey about it so Voldey has Cho killed so we can get rid of one annoying character.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO HOPE FOR HARRY AND CHO!!!!! after their fight, harry didn't even have any more fantasies about her. they're through. if they do get back together, i think i'll die of shock!

Well, it is no secret how I feel about Cho...  yuk.

Actually, I do think that Snape will end up going bad on us, for at least a bit.  I think he'll sort himself out in the end, but for awhile there, he'll be nasty.  Using what he gets (or did get) from Harry in Occlumency lessons would be a reasonable way for him to do some harm, but I doubt that will be his only way.

One of the things that made me curious during the occlumency lessons was Snape asking Harry about Ripper. Of all the memories that Snape was able to see, he choose to ask about Aunt Marge's dog chasing Harry up a tree. Why that memory? I can't come up with a logical theory. Anyone else??

I think that Snape's childhood was equally as bad as Harry's.  He hates Harry, but he may also have some similar experiences in his past. Snape could have had Muggle parents for all we know.

People who bully people with less power than themselves are trying to make up for the lack of power in other areas of their lives. Maybe Snape was abused as a child.

The other thought I had, was that Snape just wanted Harry to know that he (Snape) had seen Harry's thoughts.  Kind of like " See I can read your thoughts, you can't hide anything from me!".

I agree madeye, I seriously hope Snapes not evil..I love snape:-)but he probably will considering all the foreshadowing and stuff*sigh* but I want to know more about this Mark Evans! Its eatting me alive lol, I know it HAS to be something, she wouldnt just throw something like that in the story for no reason and not bring it up, she wanted to make it not obvious at all, I know, I didnt even relieze it. and how she suspiously made him 10, meaning next year(sopposing he has something to do with the wizarding world) hell be 11 and entering hogwarts. anyways, I know im off topic, and sorry if someone already posted something like that on another board, i just thought id say it anyways. lol

I def think that Snape is bad... I don't think Cho will be used as anything, though. I think if the whole "save the girl" thing occurs, it'll be with Hermoine just cause I think somebody mentioned JKR hinted at it.

For harry's memory about ripper, I think snape mentioned that one because it was one that showed harry being somewhat of a coward. As long as he has known harry, harry has always acted brave around scary things (ok, ripper isn't exactly scary, but whatever). and snape finally had proof of harry being a coward and better yet, he acted like a coward because of the stupidest thing! so, i don't really have any theories on what snape may do with this, maybe use it against harry?

Madeye I agree the whole way exept for snapes parents

being muggles. We all know snape was in Slyterin. Also

that Slytherins are all pure blood as it clearly

states in year 2 of Harry's adventure. That also

excludes snape and lily liking each other unless they

did it from seperate houses becuase their is a big

rumor about that, but anyway great response Madeye

{sorry if I sound rude I'm just a correction Harry freak}

The only reason for that was because of the evi lvoldemort put into him. Also harry is half breed, not a muggle born.

Ummm, Lily was a witch, James was a wizard, how does this make Harry "a half breed?"

Lily was a muggle born, therefore Harry's a halfbreed.I didn't understand it at first, but Kreacher called him one, Draco called him one, He ewven called himself one. That's why Voldemort chose Harry. they were both halfbreeds. It's all in book 5 I read the profency last night.
