Ok ,we know that in most books or movies someone dies. The person that dies usually means that he is close to the main character.By killing someone that is important to the main character, the main character shows emotion that are very spontanius and crazy(anger, hate, will for revenge...) I think that Neville will die in the 6th book.

I know what your thinking , by killing harries parents that's enough to get anyone pissed.I think so too.But I think that Rowling wants to enrich that spirit even more with a more recent tragedy.

I have only one important piece of evidenve to sopport my theory:Voldemort doesn't know who to kill (harry or neville), eventully he will just want to kill Them both and who's the easiest target? Obviously Neville is.To our knowledge Neville is unprotected (However i rather doubt that since Dumbldore probably did something to protect him because he found out about the message thing)

The best was way to dump someone:
"Hey baby welcome to dumpsville , population - you"

I actually hope Neville goes after the last book. Basically, I think JKR threw that prophecy together because her past books suggested James was related somehow. Now suddenly she has something only about Harry and Neville going on. I don't want to see a prolonged storyline about how Neville might actually be the one and how special he might be. Just kill him and go back to Harry.

I'm not a very nice person in knocking off characters.

The next victim will be Hagrid. I hate to say it, but with him out there with the giants trying to get them on our side. He'll be roaming the mountains looking for giants and defiantly run into a death eater and puff dead. Let's face it he's not the most cordinated guy in the wizarding world, but voldemort is.

Long time no see Helen, how's law school?

When I look into your eyes
I can see a love restrained
But darlin' when I hold you
Don't you know I feel the same

'Cause nothin' lasts forever
And we both know hearts can change
And it's hard to hold a candle
In the cold November rain

Well, Tyler, I was awfully sure that Hagrid was the one that was going to die in 5. Although he might still die in future books, I wouldn't bet on which one.

I just loved how JKR kept us guessing about it all throughout the book though. Hagrid and the Giants, Arthur in the hospital, etc. Then Sirius was in the blink of an eye. Totally unexpected. Especially when I was sure that Sirius would be the last one to get taken away from Harry.

Dad-Eye,
