Today i was trying to remember tom riddle's story, CoS is the only HP book I havn't read at least 2 times...so some of the plot is vague...i know the movie is not right on. Also i am reareading GoF, and cannot sort it out.

In CoS(if i remember) it was my understanding that when tom's dad found out his mom was a witch, he left them.

But in book 4, they mention the Riddle house, in which the young master was a nasty boy. And then they were "scared to death".

The coinsiding of this is vague to me, i would appreciate if someone could post the "voldie" story, thanks..

I'm not exactly sure what ur confused about, so i'll try to help thou. ok, so lets start w/ the riddle house:
The riddles and their son tom (the first tom) lived there(voldie's father and grandparents), and they were shocked to death or killed by voldy when voldy was a teenager cuz they were muggles and his father left his mother (correct me if i am wrong), so he killed them. I think that about covers it, if u have any other questions feel free to ask and if anyone has stuff to add, go right ahead!

so toms "dad" lived with his parents(toms grandparents) till he was almost 40? sounds a bit dodgy...but also could be right. Sounds right at least
