I saw on a website--I forgot which one--that Sean Biggerstaff(Oliver Wood)might not be in the PoA movie.That's why there's a petition people are signing to keep him in the movie,as well as the character he plays.I didn't sign it yet,but i will next chance i get.Who's signing it?

People aren't answering because this is a message board, not a chat room. We don't always respond to posts as soon as you post them.

Also, people around here don't usually reply to posts unless they have something to add to them- meaning they're interested in the post enough to think about it, and they have an idea or opinion to tack on to what you posted. If it's something we've already talked about, we won't likely respond because we've already posted our opinions earlier.

She hasn't bashed anyone, and after her posts were responded to she hasn't posted stuff like that since, one other post she got a reply posted about her because she didn't put a space between her sentences- I think we should give her a chance, if she hasn't left already.

Your perfectly right Christina, all these "new"(and i mean, alot of them, i think 5-6 ppl have sprouted up) are anoying me. We should give them a chance. Meh, maybe I'm just paranoid. Well giLLy was the exception. She was annoying. Only because she made a useless post, then made a new personality to defend herself, then dissapeared. Reminds me of TigerLily. But hey, it probably isn't because we haven't heard hyde nore hair from her in over a month at least, maybe longer.

Personally I think if giLLy never showed up, we wouldn't think that this Alica (was that her name, I can't remember, sorry) was annoying. I think it was just timeing and maybe people went and assumed they were the same person. Hell, it's possible since she dissapeared with giLLy, but I think we can give her a chance. All she really did so far was make a post not everybody agreed with. Well 2 actually, this one and the Tom Felton one. She didn't know that they stopped filming already, not everybody follows the filming schedule so you have to give her credit for that at least. And okay, so she was a bit impatiant with the whole "why hasn't anybody answered me yet?" thing, but she didn't make it to the rules yet. I think we are fair with giving second, and third chances. Hell if we didn't Locke wouldn't be here right now and I'm sure alot of people know what I'm talking about. But we give second chances like I said, for people to get off on a good foot. Which is good because since we gave Locke a chance, he has prooven to be a nice and useful board member here.

And about the one time posters, well that doesn't concern me. Want to know why? Because if they are responding to a post they are expressing their opinion. That is what a messege board is here for, right? Now if you don't like their opinion then deal with it since they won't be coming back anyway. If you like it, then it adds to the conversation.

And Tyler, well I recognize the name. I don't think he is a one time poster. More or less one of those people who post for a few days then don't come back for a matter of months at a time. Nothing wrong with that. Being a member here doesn't require you to come every day.

Now I'm just as guilty as anyone. I can't remember if I made any coments about any of the new people on the board, but I know I have off of the board on AOL/AIM to other board members. Well giLLy seems to be the only one on a bad start, so I realyl shouldn't have gotten all riled up about it, and neither should any of you. Sandy made a good post to check out on this girls other thread.

...Now, I have one last thing to ramble on about, then I'll hit the respond button, I swear! Okay, about what Tyler did with putting all of his posts into seperete posts instead of combining them. Well you can't always combine them. I was all for it until like last night when I made one of my own. If you combine it, either you have a mile long title trying to mention every topic, or you say something like what I do, 'Misc. HP News'. I'll pick apart my own specific thread so that I don't piss anyone off since it's my thread. Well, that title isn't specific enough to really get people to click on it. Then even if you do click on it, if you do what I did and put like 4 topics in one thread, bu the time you read the last topic, you don't remember what you wanted to say about the first topic. In short nobody will respond. And if people do, then it is one heck of a mess for a thread since you have a billion ideas beiong shot around at once that don't go together. Dad-Eye pointed that out on one of Tyler's threads after someone mentioned it. Now hell, if they go together then keep them together. But just because you have two ideas that relate to Harry Potter doesn't mean the best idea would be to post them together. I mean if you want to go off about how bad the acting was in the movie, and then have a theory about something you read in an HP book that was a different book then the movie, then why put them together? They clash.

No, believe me- Tyler was an annoybie. I haven't been around enough to judge others, but I certainly got a taste for Tyler. He made a bunch of one sentence posts that didn't go anywhere. But that's not what bugged me. What bugged me was on his reply to another post where he got mad at everyone who didn't support the Iraq war, saying how un-American they were and how brilliant Bush was. When someone called him on it, he spouted out a bunch of bullsh!t things and claimed they were facts when a simple check of the statistics would have proved him wrong. Then he got defensive and pissed off when someone dared to show him that he wasn't what we like to call "right".

Locke, several people come and go here. Just because you posted once here, doesn't mean you have to stay here or post 4 times a week. Some people have a question, get it answered, and leave. It happens and there's no problem with that.

I admit, though, that during "Annoybie Season" when someone makes an annoying post and doesn't come back, I get paranoid, but that's it.

I don't think it's fair to call someone an annoybie just because you don't like the substance of their posts or because they made about two posts and went away. They may have annoyed you but they didn't do anything that should annoy the rest of us.

So, the moral of the story is don't judge. Oh yeah, and don't do drugs.

First thing, I have a six year old niece, and I can guarentee you that a six year old would not be able to manuver their way around this board. I higly doubt that a six year old would have an opinion on the war, even if they did, I doubt a six year old would be able to use apostraphes and other punctuation correctly. I also noticed that all of th correct words were capitolized, something I highly doubt a six year old could manage. I also don't think a six year old would know words like "revenged." If that trully was your brother, who is 6, he is very advanced.

Also, how did he manage to log in under your name?

Now, I don't really mind the multiple posts that you made, or the fact that you (because I do think it was you who made that post) stood up for your opinion, the problem that I had with it was that you were putting words in other Americans mouths. I will easilly over look this if you just apoligize, I just don't think it was necesary to blame things on your little brother.

I was Logged in and about to respond then I had a phone call about my personel affairs that lasted about 2 hrs and during this time he looked at the tread and made his own response.

So, you have a six year old brother, yourself, and three brothers in the war - so they'd have to be at the very least 18, 19 and 21. Quite an ages gap, not saying it's impossible, but it's rare these days. Any sisters to add to it?

I defend them because there my own flesh and blood and are my complete childhood so far and I would not lie about them in a situation like this and defend something that never happened.

Right.  Now, didn't I tell you folks you'd know when we had a genuine annoybie on the board? 

I will repeat what I said on the other thread.  We are tending toward mass hysteria around here (due to delightful individuals such as Tyler).  Don't go off at one slightly pointless post.  Save your ire for the real thing (again, I refer you to Tyler).  Please do not tear apart the newcomers and then stamp on the bits.  Wait, and give them a chance to learn their way around.  If they are the real article, it will show and THEN you can pick at them.

Oh, and Tyler - your story is weak, my friend.  Very weak.  Frankly, I find it disturbing that you would make up stories using the 9/11 attacks to get attention.  I should also point out that you are not original.  We have had several come in with stories of how their cat died, sibling died, friend died and they, personally, suffered mental illness.  In fact, I think we may have had one who claimed all of the above (aside from the mental illness) once.  Around here, blaming a post on a sibling or friend is as new as telling us the check is in the mail or your dog ate your homework.  Just thought you should know.
