The six basic sleeping positions and the personality traits:
--Crouched in the fetal position: Shy and sensitive
--Soldier position (flat on the back with arms at the sides): Quiet and reserved
--On the side with legs outstretched and arms down: Social and easy-going
--On the side with legs outstretched and arms outstretched: Suspicious
--Flat on the tummy with hands at the sides of the head: Brash and gregarious
--On the back with outstretched arms and legs: Unassuming and a good listener

This is a tough one. I'm not sure where I fit in. I usually fall asleep on my stomach with one arm up by my head and one down. So I'll pretend it's both arms up. In which case, I'm apparently brash and gregarious.

This is hard! I'm a few things actually...I fall asleep on the second two (tummy & back), but I end up waking up in the fetal position.

I fall asleep on my stomach with my arms jammed under my pillows or I have one pillow folded in half legnth wise that I cuddle with. That's usually how I wake up too. BUT if there is no hum of a fan going, I can't sleep.

I sleep on my side. With one arm under the pillow.

I actually went over to my bed, and lay down for a few minutes to make sure.

I sleep on my back, and only toss and turn if I am deathly sick, sleeping on your back is the best thing for your posture, but i find it is the most relaxing, as it is the easiest way for your heart to circulate your blood through your system, thus allowing your heart rate to subside greatly, allowing you to fall in a deep sleep.  But because the blood circulation is open, when needed, i can instantly awake, because it is eisiest for my body to pump blood that way.  I guess i look at it too "scientifically" but i see no other way to sleep unless it is necessary that you cannot sleep on your back.

I can't find it comfortable any way other than on my side. It was quite funny to read how scientifically you look at sleeping.

Mine seems to be a combo of the fetal postion and laying on your side, which dosn't really make sense, because that means I'm both shy and social. I sleep on my side with my hands in and my legs somewhat out, but there bended.

No, you can be social and shy. Around strangers I don't talk at all. Sometimes people think I'm mute. Kind of funny. If I'm around my friends, alone or in public, you can't get me to shut up and I'm usually pissing off the public around me. Oh well, tough for them.

How do I sleep? Well, I am practically an insomniac. It takes me hours upon hours to fall asleep, and then I'm lucky if I can go to sleep at all. When I do sleep though, I usually end up in multiple positions. I sleep mostly though sideways. I prety much have my head and arms hanging off one side, and my lef=gs hanging off the other.

I'm usually asleep when I'm in my sleeping position, so I wouldn't know.

I'm the same as Chris, I usually give up at about 5:00 on a college day, or I wouldn't be able to get up. I usually don't get sleep about twice a week at night. I usually sleep on the bus on those days. The crazy driver who shouts out the windows and drives at about a million miles an hour doesn't stop me for some reason, but a nice comfortable bed with music does.

I usually have nice relaxing music when I'm sleeping, Fleetwood Mac - Albatross and random Moody Blues songs are good.

When I do get to sleep It's for about 4 hours and I wake up every half an hour or so.

I guess I usually go to sleep lying on my back. I move around a lot though and I sometimes move stuff about. I took my headboard off once and threw it out the window. Don't remember that. Was drunk though so fair enough.

When I wake up I'm in a different position, and sometimes place, from when I went to sleep. Depends on what mood I'm in and what I'm listening to.

I can't wake up in the mornings either. My Dad is threatening to get a cockrel to wake me up.

I don't see how sleep positions could show your personality though.

You could say that about anything. "The way you eat Mars Bars could show your personality" and just make some stuff up.

What I used to find would put me right to sleep is a teacher in class. Always my Law class would do the trick. Once I over slept threw the bell, some kid kept pocing me for the seat. Kind of funny.

The bus always worked also. I don't know why though.

No I think we're more likely to be able to find their personalities with Reeses Cups. Everyone eats those in there own way. Or Oreos.

That would make you weird, not liking chocolate!

Reese's, well I just bite them lol. Oreos, well I eat them two ways. Either I'll dip an Oreo, whole, in a glass of milk then eat it. Or, I twist the top off and eat the creme first before the cookie parts.

Doing rounds, Kitch I can't believe you, I think Albotros is probably one of the worst FM songs. But I can't say you don't have good taste in music. I'm curius, have you listened to the new Fleetwood Mac CD? Say You Will is the CD title, I think it is great.

I like Albatross's tune. I think it would have been better as a single guitar solo with maybe a few accoustics to back it up. I wish Peter Green had done that.

I am not a massive Fleetwood Mac fan, I generally don't like rock bands with female singers much. Slow rock with female singers is good, Janis Joplin for example. I just prefer a male singing voice with rock music.

I have not heard their new CD. Is it all new songs? Also, who is singing on it?

I like their late 60s stuff the most. Peter Green is a God.

I sleep in many differnt positions. I toss and turn all night long. I'm on one side, then my other, then I'm on my back, then my stomach, in the fetal position (probably the most confortable, but still, the confort goes away after a while), my arms and legs all over the place, and I never wake up in the same position in which I fell asleep because of this. I have a bad back and my matress doesn't help a single bit. I desperatly need a new one. This is probably why I toss and turn all night long, because nothing is confortable for long.
