I just found these two articles on Muggle Net about the casting call for an actress to play the role of Cho Chang in the 4th Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. They may have cut her out of PoA, but it looks as though they want her character in the film for GoF. One of these articles does have a video clip, but I haven't watched it yet. I'll hold back my opinion until after I see the clip I guess.

The thread on this page marked untitled was originally about someone asking us if Cho has been casted. I would have posted it there but since the topic changed to something else I doubt people would go looking on the thread for this kind of information, so I'm just making a thread here.

Tom Felton advises potential Cho Changs
Tom Felton has given out advice to the hopefuls who will be auditioning tomorrow at Pineapple Studios for the role of Cho Chang:

Tom, who plays Draco Malfoy, said it's good to make the casting people laugh, as it'll stick in their minds. "If you can make them remember you, then it helps," he said. "Obviously being a good actor helps too!"

Tom also added this on filming PoA:

"There's a new director (Alfonso Cuaron) and new cast members, which is always a good laugh because they always fit in perfectly," he said. "There's some location shooting in Scotland and new places I've never been to before so it's been a good laugh, an all-round good experience."

Cho Chang auditions - videos!
I spent the day in London covering the Cho Chang auditions and managed to talk with a few of the thousands of hopeful auditionees, as well as some footage of the scene around Pineapple Studios, where the auditions took place. You can view the full video here, which is the first video on MuggleNet's new "MuggleNet Movies" page, which will showcase all interviews and special videos that we have.

I met up with Lizo (from CBBC...the guy interviewing JKR and Steve Kloves on the CoS DVD) and asked him to say a special message to you all, which appears at the end of the video. He also sent this signed message to MuggleNet.
