Umbridge Casting...

Wow. That would be horribly wrong. She looks prety and Umbridge reminds me of a beasty troll...

Kind of reminds me of that rumor about that thin lady playing Madam Maxim. She didn't seem too tall at all from the pics I saw, and she looked prety too (maybe I was looking at a younger picture, I don't know much about that actress...like her name at this moment lol). Madam Maxim, IMO, should be larger like Robby Cultran's size and body type. Not neccecerily ugly looking, but a face that would fit a freaky (freaky not as in fat, but 10 feet tall lol) body like that. You know what I mean? The pics I saw of Maxim made her look like a short thing blond. ...I'd say this new rumor about Umbridge is just as dumb.

WHAT THE HELL!

I copied and pasted the ACTUAL article into the thread. Then ****ing net54 had to be a pain in my ass and it made me have to close the board and open it like 20 times before I could post. Somewere in the copy/pasting I must have last it. That sucks.

Umbridge rumors
Several sites are reporting that actress
Naomi Watts has been approached by Warner Brothers for the role of Professor Umbridge in the fifth movie.

I've come across a lot of crazy rumors in my time, but this one officially beats out "Rowan Atkinson for Voldemort" as the most laughable casting rumor I've ever heard.

I hope that picture of "Umbridge" in the post by Anonymous is a joke. That woman is Sheila Copps, a politician in Canada.

I don't see her as Umbridge, but seeing as they're doing the casting for GOF - you'd think they'd be considering her for Narcissa:

Wait, she's in her thirties. That won't fit in with Rickman's age, would it? Maybe she has a grandmother?

Well, the casting directors might have wanted to make the part more desireable. I doubt someone would take a part if they knew they were cast as not only a hanus umm nm i dont swear, but also a fat ugly one as well. They might have redifined the part so shes hot and witch (ummm in more ways than one). If that rumors true, thats my guess.

Well with the way things are going in this series so far, that wouldn't surprise me.

Ummm, i think making her hot would ruin it...so if she is cast, she will be made ugly, and she will have no problem with that...its show biz, you fit into the character...I can't see wb changing it, that would ruin it for all the fans period.

Umbridge...well Naomi Watts is not it.  I am picturing someone more like Roseanne Barr, short, heavy and mean.

I don't care how bad the movie is. If they get Roseanne Barr to play Umbridge I'll see it. She is so funny! I actually thought she dissapeared off the face of the Earth, but I heard she plays a cow (go figure lol) in the upcoming cartoon about a farm in April (probably a Disney movie, but not positive).

This might not mean anything to those of you who are not in the UK but I think Anne Widecome (british poletician) would be perfect for umbridge. Not likely I know but she is exacly how I see umbridge. All she needs is the pink headband.

Sort of unrelated...
I just finished watching Second Hand Lions and I found my Dumbledore- I know the new one is better than the old one but as soon as Micheal Cain came on screen, I thought 'this is dumbledore, just as I pictured him.' I know he isn't brittish, but this is the only actor I know of who matches the pictures in my head exactly.

whoops, my bad- didn't know who he was, just knew the name. The movie I saw was the first time I've seen him and he didn't have an accent. I probably should've checked <ducks head>. Wait, then why the heck didn't they pick him?!?!? Thanks for correcting me!

Easy, because they seem to be good at making mistakes. ...I've never seen him, well if I have I can't remember him, so I can't coment on how he would portray Albus. But I'll take your word for it.
