all right ive been racking my brain trying 2 figure this out. Was it just a coincidence that Umbridge touched Harry and his scar hurt? Also i no Sirius said the world isnt divided into good people and Death Eaters and so many people said that but did u notice how many times JKR said she probably wasnt a DE? makes me think she realy is if she has 2 say she isnt so many times

Like Sirius said, the world isn't divided into good people and death eaters. I think the scar thing was just a coincedence. I am about 99.999% sure that Umbridge wasn't a death eater.

"You too are about to learn what happens to wrongdoing at my school."
Filch cracked his whip threatingly.
"You know what? said Fred. "I dont think we are. George, I think we've outgrown
full-time education."
"Yeah, I've been feeling that way myself," said George lightly.
"Time to test our talents in the real world, d'you reckon?" asked Fred.
"Definitely," said George.
And before Umbridge could say a word, they raised their wands and said together,
"Accio Brooms!"...

"Give her hell from us, Peeves!"

If life gives you lemons...THROUGH THEM AT SOMEONE!

I think Umbridge is just a psycho, power-hungry b***h. She likes controlling people, so I doubt she would work for Voldemort. I don't think we'll ever see her again. Or at least I hope so. I haaaate her!

I think she's a complete brown-noser and in love with power, but I think her discrimination and prejudice override any reason she'd go to Voldemort. She's a hard-bent Ministry official because she could use her position to influence the law...and look what she did with her power. She tried to kick anything that was not 100% human out of public life and pretty much made their discrimination legal. She makes in impossible for anything that's not completely human to actually participate in public life. However, Voldemort, as we've heard, is willing to expand freedoms to part-humans. He welcomes such creatures to his side and gives them equality in his ranks as long as they're willing to fulfill his will. Umbridge is so bigoted that I don't think there's any way she'd set aside her prejudices for the illegal power Voldemort would give her, especially since with that power, she couldn't use it to directly influence the law.

i do think we'll c Umbridge again because i think all old characters will come back again. also since a lot of the Ministry is so prejudice against part humans i think this could put Voldy at a real advantage. alot of races like goblins may go 2 Voldy if he treats them with respect, something wizards have failed 2 do.

I thought Harry's scar, even though it was a mark left by Voldemort, was a warning against danger. I could be wrong because I've never been right.

If so, when his scar hurt in the Umbridge scenario, well, warning?? It could be as simple as that. I am sure that Umbridge will be back but as a subdued Umbridge. I don't think she will be a Harry supporter, per se, but she will certainly not be backing Voldemort. I think everyone who is not a Harry supporter is being unnecessarily branded a Death Eater.

Sounds like she needs a cat! Maybe Minirva? Haha, yeah right! Then Minirva may wind up in Azkaban for murder!

I swore I responded earlier today to this, but I guess I didn't. Oh well. I prety much agree that she won't support Voldemort or Harry, but will take whatever side the Ministry takes (which would be with Harry and Dumbledore).
