Alana, Jennifer, Whoever You Decide To Be Tomorrow...

Did you change your name because we made you look like an idiot? If that's the case you should realise you really made yourself look like an idiot. Kind of like how you are going on your new name. Now why did you choose the name Jennifer is my question? Did you see other people posted as Jennifer and got some respect and you just wanted some after your first post? Or was it just a random name you pulled out of your ass?

Just to let you know, I appreciate you being rude to her, Chris. I appreciate it very much.

And no, Chris, you aren't the guy in my cartoon...I think Alana just might be.

It is better to stick with one name. We have, in the past, had people get yelled at and pissed off then swear they were leaving (or be banned from the site depending on the situations) then come back as other names just to annoy the crap out of us some more. I don't know how your brain works (it's been a few years since I was 2, sorry), but it looked like that was your approach seeing as you don't announce your change, you just change after you were pointed out to be an idiot. But that's all good because you really only prooved my point for me.

Jennifer, I never said that Jennifer was never your real name. I just questioned where you got it. Gave my own sugestion where I beleived you got it from, but never said that I was 100%  positive, just an idea. It can your real name, that's okay.

As for the 13 thing, my question to you is do you think your age is an excuse for stupidity and then yelling at people who proove you wrong? There are younger members on this board then you who are more mature acting. Now I am not saying you don't have potential even if you tried to act mature, I'm judging based on prior actions knowing you may possibly change. So do you think that because you are 13 we should just turn the other cheek and accept anyone that age who wants to say something as fact, giving no proof or source, and knowing it is quite possible not only your prodiction but wrong also, and then yell at us because we called you out on it and pointed out we don't beleive it? Nope. You can say whatever you want as an excuse, doesn't mean we will buy it. And age definatly qualifies as a not boughten excuse. My 10 year old cousin Nicole is more mature then I've seen you act. Again, I am not saying you can't change in time if you don't try, I just mean either deal with us prooving you wrong, or give us a reasonable excuse that makes sense. ...Or try to entertain us and come up with one really creative next time.

Game, Set, and Match ... CHRIS!!

But i agree, i don't see what 13 has to do with it? Can you just answer for my why you told us that?
Do you still get your name confused at 13? Or is 13 the official transetory age where you decide to change your name?

I have been talking to this girl through email, she doesn't seem to be that bad. I just think she started off on the wrong foot, maybe should consider giving her a second chance. After all you have for many before, and some people more than that. And perhaps these rude insults could be kept down a lil'... on both sides.

In the years that I have came here, I have seen and took part in some of these on going agruements between "annoybies" and the members/mods. And I know that you guys would like them to stop. Perhaps it's time for some one to be the bigger man so to speak. I am not saying that some of these new people, aren't annoying as hell, but perhaps alot are just very immature. With age comes maturity, patience is all that you can do, that and delete these annoying messages. And if they choose to agrue, well banned them, do not sink to their level and agrue back.

Everyone has their own views on things, their own options don't be so focused on your own that won't consider the possibilty of other view points. And don't judge a person on this view. I am talking about this to everyone and about everything not just hp. Perhaps by doing this, we can at least elimate some of these unnessary agruements.

I know that I have no right to talk, and I am aware that I have caused a good deal of stress here. But since I have been here, I have seen this site go from horrible, to what it is today. I give credit mainly for these good changes to the mods and even those who aren't mods who helped. Putting your foot down where need be and directing the site back to what it was created for, made a difference. I desire to this board become greater.

Jennifer most of these mods, especailly narc and helen have seen it all. They don't mean to come across the way they do,sometimes, please try to be more understanding. They have had to put up with the worst, including myself, but enough is enough. And Chris he means well, he is just , well he is just being chris. He is a pretty nice guy if you don't insult him or his friends. Well they all are, but some are more protective and tempermental then others. Give them a chance; one advice though, if a rumor or story sounds fishy to you even just a lil' it's best not to post it.

To avoid confusion, in this thread I'm calling the new Jennifer by Alana, and teh old Jennifer by Ginny (old board name).

Ginny, you make your fair share of points, I admit. And it is nice you are trying to calm things down as apposed to your old behavior and starting trouble just for your own entertainment. However if she didn't want people to point out flaws, then she shouldn't have come on and acted like an immature idiot. Sorry, but it's true. If she doesn't like how she gets treated then just leave. This isn't the only place on the net.

Alana, nobody said you couldn't change or wouldn't change. If you have the intent to then that is fine as long as you do follow up on your intent to be reasonable and nice. That's all we ask, and since you say that is what you will do from now on then that is all we want, so good for you.

Also a little tip that was pointed out to DJ on another thread when he first joined the board, try and use propper grammar. I mean you don't have to be an english major or anything, I mean if someone picked apart what I wrote and graded it I would probably be shunned from the board. But you punctuations that make it sound like it makes sense. Not everything has to be 100% perfect obviously, but it is really annoying to read posts typed out like your last one.

hey, just letting everyone know, i'm a girl! And i hope i've fixed up the grammar, because now i realise how annoying it is.

So yeah, jennifer, it just makes things easier to understand, because when you're typing you know where the pauses and rests are, but when it's someone else reading it's hard to understand it.

But yeah, i'm a girl. my name's dj because my first name's dani and middle name is jane.

Thank you everybody for giving me another chance. I am sorry about my other chat-like post. I hadn't read the rules yet. Chris, thank you for the advice.(My grammar is better isn't it?) I will try as hard as I possibly can to help the board.By the way, what does everybody want my name to be, Alana or Jennifer? (Just wondering)

I'd say Alana to avoid confusion. And I hope you've read the rules now because if you really do follow them, you won't be yelled at and deleted again.

Well, you can really have whatever name you choose. So if you want Jennifer you can use it. If you want Jenn go ahead. If you want Alana that's fine too. Personaly I would say Alana as my sugestion, only because we already have to Jenn's on the board. Jenn, the one you have been talking to in e-mail, and a Jennifer who pops by once in a great blue moon. Just less confusion that way, but again it's your name so choose what you want. I think there is something about it in the rules, but at the same time I don't think many people would hassle you over having Jennifer just because of confusion. If they don't want to be confused then they can look at the logins instead of the names, that is what the login is there for after all. But if I was offering a sugestion, I would say Alana.

I just have a general question- the only person who said completely that they were willing to give Alana another chance is Jenn- who isn't only NOT a member of this board, but one of the worst annoybies we've ever had to the point she's earned herself several bans over the years. Chris was more forgiving than before, but didn't give a definite yes, just advice. No mods got in on it, and only one other newer member, DJ, spoke up.

Given that, isn't it rather presumptious of Jennifer to thank everyone for giving her another chance when that hasn't happened? It's not going to effect our decision if she makes it for us.

Now, I have no problem if Jennifer does change and gets better, but it doesn't bode well for her if she's making assumptions based on what Ginny says.

I guess for a flat answer I don't mind as long as you actually change. We have given more chances to people before because as the online comunity that we are, for the most part we aren't rude idiots who think people can not change. We have had people come and go and not change after many chances were given to them, but we realize not all people are like that obviously. Now, my vote is if you honestly show a change and work for respect then go for it I guess. But I'm note a mod so you can't base my opinion as a yes or no from everyone else. I only speak for myself. Helen seems okay with it also from what she said, but she does make valid points.

I personaly don't see how you would have known how unrespected the other Jennifer is around here (Ginny) by everyone else if you haven't gone looking through past threads. I know from the e-mail you sent me and what Jenn has told me off the board that she contacted you and not the other way around. Now I do see how you would interpret her. She came to you with advice to become liked and how to keep on a good track. You probably haven't seen her post or anything (which she doesn't post very often so that would be understandable). So for all you knew when she contacted you was that Jenn was a respected board member or something. I will say that she is the complete opposit. I personaly don't mind her one way or the other because she has shapped up a bit from the past I guess. But her past actions make it so that anybody who knows her and who she was has no respect for her, and it should also be mentioned she was kicked off the board on numerous ocasions but still insists on coming back even though she promised to never return. Now, the advice she gave you does seem a bit reasonable obviously, but the point to all of this is just because she says that doesn't mean anything. Like I said I don't mind her, but the board as a whole (I'm assuming) would rather have her gone then stay so you shouldn't count her opinion for much at all, even if she says something that does make sense.

To sum it up, I say I'd give you a second chance, Helen seems to be okay with a second chance also, and don't listen to much of Jenn as she doesn't count for much in all honesty. Not saying you are forbiddon to talk to her or be her friend, just realize not many people at all on this board aside from me can stand her presence. Also keep in mind you have two people she seem to be okay with a second chance, but that doesn't mean everybody is so if you decide to stay then make use of whatever second chance you may or may not have and don't do anything dumb enough to be banned. Best adivce I ahve that wasn't already said.
