I was wondering....

I'm reading this one book and it says "If [JK] reinforces, she means it." Well, keep mentioning Trelawney's "Harry will die soon" a lot. Plus, the Prophecy said the thing about the killing majigger...

What if Harry is killed? I dunno. Maybe his death will end the series. I don't know... ideas???

Plus, did my "Most Excellent Hp Theory" get deleted? Cuz I can't find it anywhere...

That is a very hard thing to say. What I think is that he won't in the seventh and I'm positive he won't in the sixth. I just think that he won't die because JKR thought about making a book 8. That could be just a red herring, but I doubt she would right another book if Harry is dead-I mean what about her main character? And I will personally be very upset if Harry dies, even if its for noble reasons. Also, although Trelawnys predictions sorta come true, the way she says them make them wrong. Like when she was always seeing "the grim, " I expect she was just seeing Sirius in his Animagius form. She reads the predictions right, she just interprets them wrong. Yo just never can tell with her. But good theory.

"Yeah, I've been feeling that way myself," said George lightly.
"Time to test our talents in the real world, d'you reckon?" asked Fred.
"Definitely," said George.

I dont think Harry will die at the end. What will the point be, of making a series of 7 (maybe 8) books, if 'the hero' will fail? What is the point of revealing for us, the prophecy, if its contens wont play out? Harry is the only one who is able to kill Voldemort for good, what is the point of the prophecy at all, if he fails? The only chance I think Harry will die, is if the only way to kill Voldemort involves dying himself, but again, why would she then think of making another book after nr 7 ?

I guess Harry has as much of a chance of being killed off as he does surviving.

I am so sick of hearing about how JKR has decided to write an eighth book! SHE NEVER SAID THAT! What she said and meant was she is not totally against writing 8 books like she once was. I feel fairly certain that it will all end with book 7 according to her original plans.

I didnt say she was for sure gonna make a book 8, i just said that she had thought about it. I am saying that her saying that could either be a clue or it could be a red herring. Who knows how JKR's mind works.

I definately think Harry will die. There's all this foreshadowing about his death. Trewlawney constantly says he's going to die and she did make the prophecy. Proffesor Mcgonnagall said she predicts someone will die every year. I wonder if she predicted Cedric's death? I don't think Proffesor Trewlawney realy thinks Harry's going to die. I think she's just very dramatic and theatrical and let's face it she'd be pretty boring if she didn't constantly say Harry would die. I think it's there as a foreshadowing of Harry dying.
