Who's everyone rooting for?

I'm sure I don't need to say mine - I'm just bloody impressed they got as far as they did! WOW! I want to see the Flames get the cup so bad.

Well, as you can probably tell from my name I was rooting for Colorado. Since they are out I'm with you - go Flames.

I am rooting for my home town boys the lighting. I used to go watch them play when I was little, back when they played in st petersburg. We would drive from largo to st pete, it took 15-20 mins to get there. My dad would take us after school, those were the days....
anyways go lighting!!!!!!!!

Definitely the Flames. I hate the Sharks after they beat the Avs. Plus, since the Red Wings got knocked out by the Flames, that gives me an edge with them.

Of course, everyone else I know is from Pennsylvania, so I guess I'll be hearing only about the Flyers for a while.

I am gonna root for the Flyers because of Jeremy Roenick. If I am thinking correctly I don't think he has ever won the Stanley Cup. However, I do like Martin St. Louis from the Lightning, his name just sounds cool!

I'm telling this once and forall

The nhl is riged!!!

The vancouver canucks should have won this year

Beaten by the flames come on(no offense)

If you all think "This's guy's a total moron if he thinks the NHL is riged"
I dont blame you, it does seem a tad outrageus.

But explain this my friends

Aneheim Mighty Ducks went all the way to the SatanleyCup last year and were a game a way from the cup.

What's up with that

There's gotta be an explanation

Now I know my opinion is a little capitalistic by what the heck is going on

So even though I know that there is something funny about the NHL i still continue to be obsesed with it.

Vancouver should have won the cup

VANCOUVER CANUCKS RULE!!!

"Beaten by the flames come on(no offense)"

Seriously man, wtf is that? The Canucks didn't deserve to win. Their refs were cheating and ignoring the sticking. Calgary totally throttled the Wings and Iginla is considered one of the best players in the league. Kippersoff is one of the best goal tenders.

Id doesn't mean it's rigged, it means the Ducks didn't do as well as the Devils. :S

Ok listen I'm not denying thew fact that Kiprosoff is a good a goal tender and iginla has skill, but i hate the fact that such an enexperienced team that hasn't been in the playof's for about 8 years can make it to the conference finals and be up 2-0 against the sharks.Detroit has fought all year to win the presidents trophy and bam, they get knocked off the ground. Same with Vancouver, but whoever says that vancouver doesn't deserve to win the cup is generally right. And even though I'm a die hard Canucks fan for 7 years, their harsh actions against Colorado(I'm obviously talking about the bertuzzi insident)have made them unworthy of such glory.

Second of all, I hate people that pick a team just when they start playing good. It annoys me when last year people were rooting for aneheim because the were just doing good for one playoff run. Pick a team and stick with it. Now I'm not saying that there are people here that do it but I think it's not right.

VANCOUVER CANUCKS RULE!!!

Hate to tell you, but I've been a flames fan since I was 5. In Calgary there isn't much else to enjoy but hockey. Calgary is NOT an inexperienced team - they're a young team working their way up. THat's how sports work. I've dated guys who were scouted from the AHL or whatever the hell the league they were in was - I know the process. Last year the Devils took the cup - this year they were knocked out in first round. You know what coaches are paid for? Studying the rival team's players and their procedures and preparing their team to hit their weaknesses. Take Detroit for example - VERY experienced - and OLD. Slower... and their goalie isn't the best. What did the Flames do? Quickened their pace and get as many shots on goal as posible. It's like a chess game - a lot of strategy is involved and if we're going to talk experience - the Flames have been an established team for many more years than the Ducks, the Sharks, or the Senators! Yes, the Flames have been suffering for eight years. They had Phil Housley and Steve Smith for some of that tim eas their captain - now they have Iggy. Changes happen and teams either thrive or struggle. Calgary's obviously thriving now. I generally get to see about 3 Flames games a year, and when I lived in TO I'd get out to see them play there when I could.

"In Calgary there isn't much else to enjoy but hockey" - from what mates say, it's like a mecca for Mountain Bikers. How I'd love to ride Canada.

So I'll go for the Canucks, becuase I only recently discovered what the word meant.

WoooOOT CANUCKS!!!

If you take a look at a map, Calgary isn't in the mountains. Banff would be the place for the mountain bikers, and Canmore. Those are almost 2 hours west of here. The mountains take un about as much of Canada as Central Park takes of New York state. Riding Canada - as soon as you hit Saskatuawan or Manitoba you'd turn around and try to get the hell out of there.

I'm rooting for the Flames but I'm not a Flames fan. I think it's pretty amazing what they are doing considering the injuries they've had during the playoffs - they had six of their starters out for a game against Detroit and still won. Another reason I'm going for the Flames is because I despise the rest of the teams - I hate the Sharks for beating my Avs, I've hated the Flyers since I started watching hockey over 10 years ago - I don't really have an opinion of the Lightning(I don't think anyone does unless you live in Florida).

I can't beleive Florida, is favoured to win this year. IT'S BLOODY FLORIDA. How often are the words: "Florida" and "Ice" In the same sentence?
