LMAO! It didn't work for Radcliffe, Lockhart, Lupin or Sirius - all characters who were supposed to look good and/or young!

THIS is the reason my friends think the English have a different idea of what looks good. Americanized British movies.

I think that the girl in the picture is cute. But I am American, so you would probably think my idea of beauty is is warped. I can picture her playing Cho. But can she act?

Kristen Kreuk would be a good choice but is she too old? I'm not really familiar with her work but saw her once on Smallville and she seemed ok.

My friend (who acts) seriously looks exactly like Kristen Kreuk. It is uncanny. People in school call her "the girl on smallville" and a lot of people believe she really is Kristen. She's been in a few commercials/magazine ads (if you ever visited toejam.com when it was up she was a model on there). Anyway, this friend loves Harry Potter and her agent had connections with Warner Bros and talked to them about her acting as Cho... but since she wasn't British and she's 5'7" she was ruled out hah. I wish I could put a pic of her on here but I don't think I should. Exactly like her, though. Freaky.

My idea of beautiful? Certainly not ET wearing a wig and a hat!

Mugglenet showed 4 girls who had lost out the part of Cho. ALL were gorgeous. One had hair to die for. I'd link the pic but mugglenet seems to be down. Oh well, not like I really need to explain myself. That girl in the pic I posted looks like a guy.

laughs She's not that ugly, not the most gorgeous girl ever, but certainly not how I picture Cho. She looks a bit weird.

Just like half the cast, she's just not the way I pictured her.

Oh i think she looks alright. With the right makeup anyone can look gorgeous almost. And i don't wanna insult her until i see her acting as Cho, because in the end that's what will stick with me, not how pretty she is.
