this is too confusing, i've read the book about 6 times and i still don't understand it.

Who did the maid find dead in the beginning of the book, Voldemort's dad and his grandparents or Voldemort himself or what..?
And who was the pale boy that Frank saw?!!

Plz answer me

I thought we had gotten over this already!
Anyway, in the Riddle House lived Mr. and Mrs. Riddle (Voldie's grandparents) and their son, Tom Riddle (Voldie's Dad).
The pale boy Frank saw was none other than Voldie himself, who had gone to kill his father and his grandparents.
hope i was clear enough!

I can't believe how many people are confused by that but it seems to be common. That's why I'm against naming kids after their parents. Too confusing.

Don't worry about it, thats confused me for a long time too.Yeah, Hallie's right though, read through it again and every time it says "the pale boy" or something like that just think Voldemort, it should make more sense.

I think this has to be one of the more common questions asked. I think its because most people didn't like CoS and probably didn't read it more than once, thus forgetting that Voldemort's father shared his same name.

Then again, I only read the book once out of order and I thought it was such a key point that it was easy to remember. Oh well.
