Here's something my mum found on a charmed post board (she's a freak-fan of charmed), which one person named 'schoff' posted about harry potter, and i thought it was very interesting and that i would share with you all, because i'm just kind like that.
"...history is freakin' overflowing in the books. Look up the history of Lucius vs Arhur. Her names even tell you everything you need to know. Sirius, the dog star. Lupin, the werewolf. Readers should have known Umbridge is a play on umbrage, so she's probably not a character we're going to like. Who takes a Fudge seriously? ... even hair and color show continuity. Curly hair= character is not to be trusted. ... Does anyone know there's evidence to support Snape being a Vampire? Petunia might be able to do magic? Harry's mom a Slytherin? Ron might die? Malfoy's bribing the hospital to keep Neville's parents in the insanity ward? JKR's been setting up everything since her very first book. She does it both within the book as well as for the series. Even her omissions are clues. There's an entire day missing before baby Harry arrives at the Dursley's. What happened when his parents died? Who's going to be the enxt traitor? Who's a traitor who hasn't been revealed? JKR is practically a master at hiding things in plain sight. Never overlook one of her 'throwaway' lines, even if it's just mentioned once. It will come into play later as a significant clue you should have noticed. ... the clue to Sirius dying, in GoF, 'Snuffles', to snuff= to kill off. "
So there you go. Feel free to rip this apart and yell and scream at what you don't like, and oo and ahhh and what you do, because as i said i didn't say it myself nor do i know the person so no offense taken!
Personally - i like the Sirius' death foreshadowing, i think that's clever. And is there really a whole day missing after J and L's death? Interesting...

i don't believe that curly hair says a character is not to be trusted, personally. hermione? penelope clearwater? they both have curly hair and appear to be trustworthy.
however, there's no doubt JKR sets up a lot of things: Grimmauld Place was never going to be a bundle of laughs, was it?
Well, I'm pretty sure that Hermione is trustworthy, but Penelope-well, I mean come on, she did (is still??) date Percy. Mabye I can dig up something on her name later. She doesn't seem untrustworthy, but you never know. We don't know much about her.

"You too are about to learn what happens to wrongdoing at my school."
Filch cracked his whip threatingly.
"You know what? said Fred. "I dont think we are. George, I think we've outgrown
full-time education."
"Yeah, I've been feeling that way myself," said George lightly.
"Time to test our talents in the real world, d'you reckon?" asked Fred.
"Definitely," said George.
And before Umbridge could say a word, they raised their wands and said together,
"Accio Brooms!"...
"Give her hell from us, Peeves!"
"I didn't know you could read."
Draco from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
"The spiders...The spiders are making me tap dance..." "You tell those spiders, Ron" "Ya, ya, okay, I will." :-D tee hee
"When did she get here? Did you see her come in?" HILARIOUS!!...poor Ron. ;-D

Sabethea: Interesting website. I've read the whole thing and though some of that stuff is VERY convincing, there is also a lot of far fetched stuff in there too. Either way, it is, as you say, a very bizzare theory. Possible, but bizzare. The whole thing is just plain out too wierd!!! Ron would have had to do that illegally. Also, what about that "you cannot be seen" stuff? Will Ron create the illusion that he has died before going back in time (if this theory has truth to it)? If it is true, will we ever know the truth as fact or will it only be implied? VERY interesting, but one of the most bizzare theories I have ever read, and there are some pretty strange ones out there! I think that this one definately deserves some more attention!!!

it is hugely bizarre. i think it's impressive because it's so well thought out, even though i don't believe a word of it - the characters of ron and dumbledore are SO different - plus we get Grizelda Marchbanks in OOTP who says she remembers testing dumbledore on his NEWTS: either ron took them twice, once as himself and once as dumbledore, or he'll have to go back before then.
