After some weeks of dilberation, a few of us have decided that it is time to move to a new board of our own creation to give us a better chance of keeping order. Additionally, there are boards out there with much better features, so we figured we may as well take advantage of that, too. So, Narc, Moriah and I have set up a new board and added MadEye as an additional moderator. We co-own the board so it should be very easy to reach someone in case of problems.
Here's the background...
Some weeks ago, I emailed the mods from Dakota's board, suggesting that we consider a mass move to another board. Dak isn't very forthcoming in responding to our messages. I won't speculate on the whys and wherefores as they just aren't important. Suffice to say that problems are very much harder to deal with when we aren't getting replies and needed support from the forum owner. After some looking around, I found a free forum that was really very nice with all sorts of useful features. I created a sample board and sent the link around to the mods. The feelings were mixed. Mostly, we liked the idea but felt that we should give Dak a little more time.
Well, more time has passed and really, we decided we would be more comfortable with a new forum. This would give us a chance to set up new guidelines, a better modding system (this board allows us to warn), and generally have a fresh start.
Please know that this was in the works for weeks. It was not a hasty decision nor is it intended to be any statement other than a desire to have a better system for the board.
If you'd rather not make the move, we understand. No harm, no foul.

Looks good too! I own a board using the same software as that one. It's a REALLY nice system. I'll move there permantely if enough people from this board decide to do the same, otherwise I'll just check in on both boards with the new one being less frequent than this one.

That ad is driving me insane. It freezes up whatever I'm typing and it seems to be desperately trying to load into my computer. It will apear JUST as I'm hitting the enter key so I have to click "cancel download". I am SURE it's spyware or adware.

I've been on this board for years, although nowadays I seldom post(but since summer is here that will change), but I have noticed the gradual decline of network 54 forums, and we need to have an owner that's here and responds to emails, etc. I will see everyone at the new board!
Made in USA, but Texas to be more precise. If you mention that I have an accent I will kill you. Yall have a nice day now!
Don't get me angry, I'm running out of places to hide bodies.

Well honestly I'm not a fan of the format, how theres diff. sub-divisions for each topic, I think the format here with the one big board is better, however I like this board so much because of the great discussions which is made by the members, not the board format, and because so many people from this board are joining you can count me in.
