maybe i didn't get it, maybe i'm just dumb, but there something that stood out like a sore thumb, and i couldn't get over it.
all along book 5 Dumby doesn't look in harry's eyes because he knows he can find Voldy in there. the 1st eye contact they have is the night Ron's dad, Arthur, is attacked, and harry is filled with hatred when he looks in Dumby's eyes.
that's all well and good, after all, they are the same, but separated in essence...
but then why at the final chapters, when Dumby and Harry talk at Dumby's office, suddenly there is no such issue? Voldy didn't die, nothing really changed from the beginning regarding this issue. then why suddenly it's gone? zippo? nada? harry can gaze into Dumby's baby blue eyes like there's no tommorrow?

Didn't get it. help.

I dont know why that is. But maybe its because Voldemort realized that he cant posses Harry like he tried to do. So I dont think Dumbledore and Harry having eye contatct is an issue anymore.
