You mentioned that your favorite movie is interview with a vampire.

I've heard about this movie so many times but i have no idea what's it about.

Care to explain

It's bassed on the first book in a series of 10 books called 'The Vampire Chronicles' written by Anne Rice. The Vampire Chronicles follow the afterlives of a few select vampires. It tells their stories. They are really good. And 'Interview' followed the book almost perfectly.

The Executioner strikes again lmfao!

I think Antonio Bandarez did a great prtraial of Armand. No, he didn't look the part, but he played the part so well he fits in regardless. Kind of like in the third instalment, The Queen of the Damned, Aalyah (can't remember if that was her name, or how to spell it) did not fit the part looks wise. I mean the character Akasha is so ancient in the books her skin is as white, if not then more white, then marble. But the way she played the part of Akasha, I must say that was the only good thing in the movie that you could compair to the books. She did an absolute brilliant job of playing the part of Akasha.

Oh hell. Network 54 screwed up and it didn't post. Here goes nothing.

The Executioner strikes again lmfao!

Well no, Antonio did not look the part. But neither did Aalyah when she portraid Akasha in the move after the second book, The Queen of the Damned. Yes, he should have been a blond kid, and yes, she should have been played by a white girl (Akasha was so old as an ancient, and the first ever vampire, that her skin was as white as marble). Antonio being Mexican (I think) and older then a kid, and Aalyah being black. But both of them played there parts so well that I can look past it. I mean I can't imagine a better Akasha, can you? And Armand was palyed well also.

All i know is that if I was caught by Antonio Banderas in a dark alley I'd be screaming "Bite Me Baby Bite Me"..... lol

Yes Aaliyah did a pretty good job as Akasha as well.... we know all too well how badly they screw things up in the movies and although they didnt look the parts, they did a great job in their roles!

Oh I know. I actually can't think of a single person who could have done a better Akasha.

A bit like David Thewlis as Lupin - doesn't look the part at all but is a fine actor (although I don't doubt that they could've gotten someone better).

Exactly, I think he did a good Lupin. What I didn't like about Lupin were his looks, which is fixable if they tried, and also the dialoug. But that is out of the actor's hands. That would be mostly the script writter and the director.
