I was just wondering how far someone can Apparate. For instance could Charlie just Apparate from Romania to number 12 Grimmauld Place? I doubt this because it seems to easy. I think they must take Muggle airplanes to get to other countries. Also can a person Apparate to a place theyve never been to before?

I think they need a clear place in mind to apparate to, so I don't think they can go to a place they've never been to.

As to how far they can go, I know it has been discussed on the board before as to how long a spell that didn't hit it's target will travel for. I think we came to eventually the magic would die out and burn itself out in a lengthly travel. I assume that this would be the same. More powerful wizerds can probably go farther then most, but I think it all depends on how much power you are useing when you do it.

You could always just make "stopovers" to keep your magical energy supplies up... take a few shorter trips instead of a long one!!

Yeah but then it would ahve to recharge after each stop. May just be easier to use another means of transportation. Like me driving the Knight Bus like we were talking about on the other board!
