I think I know who the half blood prince is. In book 5 chapter 9 Harry dreams about Ron and Hermione wearing crowns. Crowns are a sign of royalty. Maybe the half blood prince is Ron and Hermione's future son? He'd be half blood.

Unless the son would be born in the next book, what would be the point of naming the book that? I don't think JKR would make a couple of 16-year-olds become parents.
Or the boy could come from the future with a time turner. Doesn't sound very likely to me.
If Ron and Hermione had a baby, it wouldn't be a half blood! It would be a pureblood cuz Ron and Hermione are both wizards!!!!!!!
Just because you're muggleborn, it doesn't make you a muggle. If you are a witch and you marry a wizard and have a witch daughter, no matter what blood either one of the parents had in the past, the daughter will be a pureblood (if she in fact is a witch at all). Witch plus wizard = pureblood kid.

I meant that he did come back with a Time Turner. And there kid would be born in the future not when theyre 16. Also just because its illegal to be seen doesnt mean you cant be seen. So he'd be in there year maybe. Or else as a first year and he's coming back to change something. Thats my theory anyway.

No, JKR said that if at least one of your grandparents was a muggle, you are still labled as a halfblood, and that only after that are you a pureblood. Harry has two muggle grandparents, so he is only halfblood. Harry's children (should he live to have any) will be pureblood if he has them with a witch who has no muggle grandparents. If he has children with a witch who does have at least one muggle grandparent, or if he has them with a muggle, then his children will be halfblood. That's how it works, JKR said so herself and she's the boss so there! lol.

i absolutely hate JKR when she does this...honestly. I was told and was under the impression that a pureblood has all magical parents...I am just incredulous to the idea that voldemort is a half blood cuz his father was muggle...now harry is a half blood because of his grandparents? It confuses me..i seriously hate JKR right now, lol.
