I was at this drug store up down doing errands for my mother. While waiting for her perscription to be filled I was looking through the books, and saw this one novel with the name 'Dead Witch Walking'. Off the top of my head I can't think of the author's name. It has on the cover the back right side of a red headed woman walking towords a house or mansion or something (the part of the cover that turns into the side panel is where it cuts the woman in half, and the side pannel doesn't continue the art work). It says the book is about this beautiful bounty hunter, who is a witch (I assume, I don't think the description on the back specified that was the witch) who is after a target in a certian area (can't remember the name of the city, but it's a real city). It says in that city vampires are around. Now it didn't go into much specific details (which is good because it draws in enough interest without killing the plot), but I bought the book. Haven't read it yet. Have any of you heard of it or read it? I'm in the middle of reading The Vampire Chronicles right now, but I plan on starting this book after I finish the current Chronicle I'm reading now (in other words take a break from the Vampire Chronicles). So if people are interested in reading it then we can read it together on the book club since it isn't very active lol.

I've actually seen that book and was tempted. Since someone else is going to read it, I might as well look for it again and give it a chance. Book club? Could you tell me a little more about that please?

The book club is a secret club where books meet up and plot evil doings against the world! They meet close to where the sock club meets.... gotta watch those socks!

Well, first, the book club is an online club I started months ago. Actualy it's almost a year old come to think of it. Well, basicaly we all vote on a book and then read it together. We make check points in the book where we all stop reading at certian spots and then discuss the happenings thus far and take guesses on what will happen. Kind of like what we do at this HP board about HP.

Now, the book specificaly, well I already got it when I posted. But right now I won't be lazy and I'll get off my rump and pull it from my book shelf lol.

Haha! Well if you post there as we read, just be nice. The other individual said he won't carry board grudges to my board when others post there. So as long as you don't call him out on my board, he said he won't do the same to anyone else. But if you post there and find a problem with him, then mention it to him someware other then my board and it'll be all good.

I went to the bookstore where I thought I had seen it. No luck. I asked if they could search the title for me and they did. They don't and didn't carry it. I don't like ordering because it takes too bloody long. I'll just have to go on the prowl now and find the correct bookstore!
