Since most of us have long made the move to the new board, why don't we just let the newbies have run of this one? I don't mean put them in control, I mean just let them talk about stuff even if we've already discussed it, without pouncing on them for it, because obviously they haven't discussed it amongst themselves (or else why would they be posting?).

We don't post as much as we did before anyway, so I don't think it matters much and personally I just ignore all those stupid question that we're asked a thousands times before, I just let them reply to each other.

Forgive me if this question has already been asked and answered, but what new bored are you guys talking about? I have seen it mentioned in a couple of posts but the ones that I have read didn't say anything about where it was located or things like that. Was there like a memo posted about the new board and I missed it? At first I thought that this board was just relocated and thats why so many new people came but what CJ said is now making me think that everyone has moved to an entirely different site. Can someone please help me because I am really confused. LOL

There was a thread put out a few weeks ago that invited everyone to the new board. we completely relocated as the owner of this board was very hard to get a hold of and therefore banning members was not happening. We moved so that more control could be had over the board.
Everyone is welcome - however, I point out that there is no crap tolerated over there. Its a very intelligent board in which stupidity has not reared its ugly head yet - i.e, there havent been any annoybies to date. So I stress that if you go there, dont post bull$hit, because you wont be posting for very long! What are you talking about Athena? I do go to the other board, I just cant do it from work, simply because DoM board has been banned by my work's server. Hardly fair.
However, I do chat to Chris on the other board, and Off the board for that matter, so your comment has no real basis of truth....
I'd really like to know what everyone's fascination with Chris and Myself is, its like you guys have nothing better to do than create fantasies about the two of us being together - - just because we chat.

Methinks thou doth protest too much-all i'm sayin is that you constantly chat on this board, which we decided a long time ago is not allowed. Usually, it's w/ Chris. I'm not sayin anything romantic's happening, in fact, LMM-ur the only one who i've ever heard say anything about that-i don't know if u two know each other aside from on HP boards or what, i'm just saying that you two chat all the time, and back when Helen and DadEye and more people were here, that wasn't tolerated. In fact, that was considered annoybie behavior. I posted a few times on the other board, and maybe you do chat some there, but i didn't see much of it. At this board it seems like every post here turns into LMM, Chris, LMM, Chris, LMM, Chris, LMM, Chris-usually(not always) talking about something romantic and having nothing to do w/ the original post. If you want to chat w/ Chris, do it on AIM or something.
LMM What amazes me is that your what? 25 years old or something? You said u were i think 7 years out of high school. I would've put a lot of money betting that you were about 14!

I post a fair bit on the the other board (last time I logged in, I had the 2nd highest number of posts), you should probably open your eyes and read a little more. I have already given you a good serving on the "Helen Wulfgar thread", but hey, who am I to shy away from another response?
If you havent already noticed, the reason why the posts end up between me and Chris is because we are two of the very few who still post here. and seeing as there is no one here and no one posts anything about Harry Potter anymore I really dont think that it is an issue when it comes to the content of what we post or how often we post it. See you have come out with a big revelation that I act as though I own the board, yet in the same breath you are giving me orders on what to do here as though you are the board owner, do you not think that is a little bit of a case of the pot calling the kettle black?
Everyone - with the exception of you and prongs - is actually quite entertained by the conversation that goes on, seeing as that is that only thing that really goes on here anymore.
The board has moved - you know this, and I'm sure you can distinguish (being the 'brilliant scholar'...lmfao that you claim you are) the difference between that serious discussion board and this board which has basically become a haven for stupidity.

I'm 15 years old and in high school(and no LMM, i didn't make that up-it's the law). What is there to lie about? you wanna know the truth??( and i've never come up w/ any fake story) The only advanced class i'm in is math-i took algebra 1 in 7th grade-when i'm a senior i'll take calc 2. That's it. i go to a tiny school, and that's pretty much all they offer. I have no idea what my IQ is, cause my parents don't tell me or my brothers. I mean, i'm "gifted" but what does that even mean?? I know some REALLY stupid people who are "gifted". Personally i think they do the tests wrong and too early, at least in pennsylvania. That's all i can tell you-how could i make up my education like you keep saying i do?? that's the first thing i've ever said about it.
So several people can't all be wrong?? um-yeah several people can be wrong. How about the taliban-there were more than several-and they were all wrong. This is getting easier with each post you write. My points are proving themselves. IMO means "In My Opinion" - I'll put it there so that other readers will know that My Thoughts on the level of intelligence displayed by you on this board may or may not be fact and that it is my personal opinion. It'll be kind of like a disclaimer that you get at the bottom of emails saying that the thoughts contained within may not necessarily be the thoughts of everyone.... etc
But like I've told you, I dont write anything that isnt true or cannot be backed up. There's no point in lying, especially here, its way too easy to get found out. So when I tell you that you did post stories about how 'gifted' you were, I wouldnt bother bluffing because the evidence is actually stored on this board.
In continuation of the fact that I dont lie, most of us are friends off the the Discussion boards, do you think we talk about Harry Potter all the time?
