Once again I apologize if this topic has already beeen talked about but I just don't have the energy to look through all the posts that have been made because they usually just end up with people bickering back and forth. So I decided to post something that...OMG... gasps with shock... doesn't have anything to do with insulting or arguing with someone, lol.

Anyway, is anyone else worried about Hurricane Frances ( for those who don't know, a hurricane that is said to be as big as Hurricane Andrew, which is really big because Andrew was a category 5 on the hurricane scale, is going to hit south Florida). And not only is it going to hit Florida but its going to exactly or extremely close to where I live. Thats just my luck. So I have been helping my parents boarder up the windows all day. Is anyone else having issues with this hurricane? What am I suppose to do with my animals?

And one more thing... can someone please tell me whats going on around here? I haven't been on in awhile because of computer troubles and other things. Last time I was on this board the only problems were with Narc and Locke and of course the annoybies. But today I come one and there is issues with LMM and Susuan, Prongs, JDW, spamming boards, being banned from boards...and some others that I can't remember. So can some one give me a quick summary of whats going on because it would be a real pain to have to go and see every post that was written in the past week or so. If its to much trouble explain then dont worry about it. I'll just have to catch up on my own.

Um you already seem to know pretty much what's going on. I mean, you mention that there's alot of insulting going on and can pretty much name the key players - its seems as though you have already read a fair bit of what's going on.

But to break it down for you.

Susan is an idiot
She is a previous member who has an unhealthy obsession with Helen and this board (she was banned a fair while ago).
After various sagas, she happened to log in here as .Prongs and stirred up trouble with myself and Narc.
Once we upset her, she decided to 'get revenge' by creating a new board that bashed this board. She claimed that it would all be about 'free speech' and off she went.
We then busted her big time and proved that she was JDW/.Prongs/Susan and that she had puppets (this happened, thanks to some clever plans and the members working together - and also being in the right place at the right time)
Anyway, after we spammed her board (wow that was fun!) she started banning us one by one and editing all the posts that anyone else posted on there (so much for free speech eh?).
Since then only 2 people post on there and her board died within a week. NOT a great effort at all!

now you're up to date!

Geez, I hope the hurricane doesn't kill you that would be just dreadful. I imagine it would be a pain for you to do some research but i guess inconviniency LMM is more fun...thanks for doing that.

PS. I <3 australians.

Steady there Locke - no one wants Minta to get hurt in the big scary hurricane! I've never experienced one, so I cant really say whether I'm worried or whether I'd be worried if there was one approaching.

Of course you love Australians, we ROCK! lol

I see you've put your new found favourite quote in your sig.... lol... I'm sure Chris will feel honoured.

I am sick of Hurricanes. First Charley, the Frances, and now we have Ivan following Frances. Whats worse, The eye of Frances is coming quite close to us. My townis going to get hit quite hard. Also there is a Hurricane Wind Watch for my county as well. If I survive this one I am moving to Indiana hopefully. Now this doesnt really matter because we are getting some bad damage but this is my THIRD 13th birthday party been canceled. If Ivan comes next weekend I am going to strangle myself.(not literally)LOL!

To be quite honest - who really gives a sh!t? That board was nothing but an excuse for someone to whine and complain about her unstable obsession.
The only reason most of us posted there was to spam or prove the b*tch wrong.... there's nothing of interest there, why bother posting?

And you're right, Susan doesnt post there anymore, even she's abandoned that board. It doesnt exactly look great when the owner bails now does it?

I'm back and I am quite glad. Oh to answer your question Minta, I live in Highlands county. We didn't get hit as hard as the people on the news said we would. But there was alot of roofs taken off. Almost all my relatives that live in Florida are in Okeechobee and they still dont have power. We were out of power for about 18 hours. Hope you are okay Minta.

Actually we did alot better then I thought we would. I live in Ft. Lauderdale so we didn't get hit that hard. There really wasn't any damage around my neighborhood and I didn't lose power, though some of my friends did and they are still without power. I'm not really sure I know where you live, but I'm glad that your still alive and well. I'm so relieved that Hurricane Ivan isn't going to hit South Florida. That is going to devastate the Florida pan-handle if it hits. I mean, look at what it did to Jamaica and they didn't even get the full effect of the hurricane. You don't live by the pan-handle do you Alana?

No I dont live on the Panhandle. I live about 50 miles from Lake Okeechobee. Maybe you have heard of Sebring. A friend of mine didnt lose power at all. The only thing that the power did was flicker only enough to turn the T.V off. I am also glad you are alive as well. Have you heard the latest Ivan report. I havent watched it lately. I dont care anymore. The rest of my family lives up north and they keep asking if we are going up north for this one and my step-dad keeps saying that the third times a charm so we are staying. I was kinda hopeing we would go up north so I could see my cousin and my aunt and her boyfriend.

I haven't been watching the news that much either since it doesn't concern me. lol. I haven't had the time with all this homework my teachers are packing on. I heard from my dad that there is a hurricane Jean coming our way. Did you hear that to, Alana??

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I went to the Emergency Room on Sunday night. I was there for 3 freakin hours all just to here that I have Gastritis(it has nothing to do with passing gas. Doctor says I have to much acid in my stomach and I have severe cramps to pay for eating school food)I've been out of school for 2 days now. I am going to have tons of homework in Algebra. Back to Hurricanes, unfortunatly I have known about it for about a week. Hurricane news flys around my school like wildfire. Well I have to get off the computer before my mom skins me alive. lol! Talk to you later if I feel better than I do now.Bye.

Oh shut up Locke. Nobody asked for your opinion. Honestly, you act just like the boys at my school and that is pretty bad considering that they are only 13 or 14 years old.
Now to talk to people worth talking to.
Ok, I didnt have as much Algebra Homework as I expected but I still had 2 assignments to do. My mom forced me to go to school on Thursday. I still have that stupid thingymabob Gastritis. Thanks for hoping I get to feeling better. Have you heard the latest report on Jeanne. It is supossedly going to hit us again. Also there is another Tropical Storm out there. I think it's name is Karl or something like that. I think the rumors around the school say that it is going to hit like Africa or somewhere around there. Well talk to you later.

If you didn't want to hear about our "excitement for the day" then why exactly are you wasting your time read or comments and posting some of your own? Explain this to me please. I did hear about Jean and the weatherman said that it was going to hit South Florida again. But not only is going to hit South Florida but it was going to hit Ft. Lauderdale but I heard that last week. I haven't been watching the news lately so I don't really know whats going on.

Yeah I realized that already. Excuse me Locke where does it say that because I don't understand everything in algebra that I will become a "hopeless bum". I attend one of the BEST private highschools in Florida. So how the hell are you going to tell me that I'm going to be a bum? You have to be extremely bright to get into the school that I'm currently going to. So maybe if you stop talking out of your a**, you might not look like a complete moron. I do have one Alana. Haha, Extremely Bright? Extremely Stupid and Rich. You may be a little smart, and someday you may actually attain the intelligence that you claim to have. I'm just simply stating that if you can't figure out grade 8 math, then your going to have a hard time in real life. Talking out my ass? Haha, how old are you? 14? I'm not saying I'm smarter then you. But I am older, and experience triumphs over knowledge.  This is why LMM is smarter then me.

I will give you a free lesson though.

Irony:   "Excuse me Locke where does it say that because I don't understand everything in algebra that I will become a "hopeless bum". I attend one of the BEST private highschools in Florida.

So how the hell are you going to tell me that I'm going to be a bum? You have to be extremely bright to get into the school that I'm currently going to. "

I never said you were going to be a bum, I said "if you can't figure out..."

Here you stated: "I don't understand everything". Then later you say: "You have to be extremely bright"...point proven? Mabye you arn't extremely bright in the english language.

Quick question though, what is the derrivative of x square?

Re: Hey

September 22 2004, 2:36 PM

I should have worded and explained myself better in that post. So now I will. It's not that I can't do algebra, it just takes me a little longer to understand it and to process it. People excel at different subjects and at different rates. And with you being all "experienced," I assumed you would now that because it really is common sense. Obviously I assumed wrong. Math is not one of my strong point as it is yours, seeming that you are very gifted in that area with all the classes you are taking or have already took. But that does not mean I am a not a bright person. Who is to say that I can't become a doctor or a lawyer because it takes me some time to understand Algebra. Who is to say that I can't one day be one of your coworkers or even your boss?

I am not claiming to be a genius or one of the people that can just sit in class and listen to the teacher or professor and get an A on the test without ever taking a note or opening a book. I am by far no where near being that intelligent and I have no problem with admitting that. I do have to study and work hard to maintain the grades that I am getting. And I believe I said that I didn't understand everything in algebra. I did not say that I didn't understand the other courses that I am taking. You do have to be very bright to get into the school that I go to even though there are many people that only got in because mommy and daddy have money. So how am I not bright in the English language?

And that's another thing. Who are you to say that the only reason I got in was because I was rich because I couldn't get in with my grades, because that is what you were implying. That is a really ridiculous assumption to make, Locke, seeming that you don't know anything about me. Actually I am not a wealthy girl. My parents had to apply me for financial aide and even ask my grandparents to help pay for my schooling. So how can you possibly question my intelligence? And you did say that I was going to become a bum because I didn't catch on to algebra that quickly. Here let me post exactly what you said, word for word.

*"eh minta...i have grade 12 advanced math (half of OAC algebra) OAC Calculus and im taking statics, mathematics and quantities in college right now...im not saying that I'm going to help you with your homework...if you can't figure it out on your own, then i suggest you start buying markers and stealing cardboard boxes to make signs that say "Im a homeless bum, give me money".*

So if you didn't mean to imply that I was going to become a homeless bum then you really should have thought about what you were about to say.

God dammit, you have just proven your stupidity yet again, must I say this again i did say:

"IF YOU CAN"T FIGURE IT OUT..."

It is an ultimatum, "IF" you don't do this...IF you can't do this, IF this happens, IFIFI*FIFIFIFIFIFIF

They do not teach kids what "IF" means?

****, i mean i was clear last time, how ****ing clear do i have to be? And thats bull**** about financial aid, You either got in on a scholarship(which appers highly unlikely) or someone paid for it, regardless of the fact your daddy is on financial aid, he is still paying it off.

Your main point was that "YOU HAVE TO BE EXTREMLEY BRIGHT TO GET IN"...in your last post you stated otherwise...you even stated that your not a genius...now you are either a skitzo...or very stupid.

Im ending this, your ability to form an argument is even worse then Alana...at least her lack of intelligence was more obvious, that I knew I was talking to an idiot...you just let you idocy leak out slower. Now I will leave this thread alone, and you can talk to people with the same ENGLISH skills, and have incurred the same amount of contutions to the head, as you.

Hey, hey, hey. Watch with the nasty comments Locke. And who says I can't argue. In case you forgot I argued with you for a long time. And speaking of English skills look at yours. You didn't even spell than right. Oh by the way, I dont have a lack of intelligence like you. It just so happens that I get straight A's on my report cards and progress reports. My latest English grade was a 99A. I always have high grades. I was even considered for skipping a grade. I would have to if my parents hadn't said no. If I had skipped 2nd grade then I would have skipped 2 grades in my lifetime. So don't even say that I have a lack of intelligence you loathsome crumb. Now Jerkoff.

Simmer down, people.

Actually, if I were in this little spat, I would check my spelling for typos, syntax error and various other things that are RIFE in most of yours BEFORE I would attack another's spelling.

I see this board has degenerated greatly. I suppose there is no saving something so deeply involved in a downward spiral. It's only good for the odd laugh now.
