Snape kill DD for redemption

Snape was an ex death eater and had DD full trust. Snape had to kill DD for redemption as DD was also the Horcruxe. He knew what he had to do and so did DD that is why he kept telling Harry to get Snape to come. But in diong so he still had Voldemorts trust.

I think you're right that DD knew he was asking for death when he was asking Harry to get Snape. I don't think DD was pleading for his life before Snape but begging him to finish the job. This mission of Snape's could have been the reason behind the fight he and DD had; the fight Hagrid overheard by the forest.

I think that you are on to something with all of this mike it is possible that this is what he needed to be done to get harry to realize that he had to this task with the horcruxes alone and that dumbledore had to die to let him realize this
