ok...we all know that Peter owes his life to Harry or something to that extent, b/c Harry saved his life in book 3. And DD told us that there was a special bond formed between 2 wizards when one saves another's life.

so here's my theory...we know that jame's saved snape's life when they were in school and DD told us that snape hated james for that. I can only assume that he hated it so much, b/c now he owes his life to james (someone he cannot stand). However, James is dead. so...

(a) since James is dead, does snape's debt now go to Harry (who snape also cant stand) or does it just end when the person dies?

or...

(b)was the male voice that harry heard (when the dementors were near him) in book 3 telling his mom to run actually Snape and not his dad?

in my opinion (b) sounds like a bit of a stretch. if it was so, wouldnt snape be dead and james alive? I'm just trying to think of a way that snape maybe tried to save james. im not really sure how this whole special bond works...im just guessing.

What??? And what the heck is Snape doing at the Potter's house? Having an affair with Lily? I think you were right the first time. Snape likely feels he owns his debt to James' son, Harry.

P.S. - I would date Snape. He's hot!

Snape said himself in book 6 that he couldn't be around the Potter house at the time of the murders...(b) is out...
