I just finished re-reading HBP and i have a few questions...
1. Weren't the diary, locket, and ring all horcruxes? In the end Harry says there are at least still four left. Something doesn't add up. Also when Harry first finds out what horcruxes are and he is discussing what some of the horcruxes are w/ DD, he says something like "unless both-" and he gets cut off by DD who says he doesnt think so and explains that he thinks Nagini is a horcrux. But what was Harry going to say? Also, there have been speculations that maybe Harry's scar is a horcrux, but didnt Voldemort say earlier that he had forgotten the old magic about love that saved Harry? meaning he was actually trying to kill him, not make him a horcrux. right?
2. Now, about this Love theory of DD's...are we gunna find out more about it in the last book? i know that it was Lilly's love that saved Harry and b/c Harry can love he is better than Voldemort, but in the memory when Tom comes to ask DD for a job, Tom brings up something about DD still believing in that love business or something. Also, when Harry and DD are talking about "the power the Dark Lord knows not", Harry's just thinking "i can love, big deal". DD tells Harry that he is too young to understand just how special he is. so im just thinking there's more to this whole theory that we dont know yet.
3. Ok...now this whole Half Blood Prince thing. Is that going to be important in book 7. b/c i can just see no point of importance that the mysterious half blood prince was Snape (except that DD always trusted Snape and Harry trusted the hbp). i know that jkr wouldnt just right about it if it werent important so will that become important in the end?
4. A point made in the beginning of hbp was that Sirius's will said that Harry got everything. Do you think that DD will leave something to Harry in his will to help him? I just don't see how Harry is going to be able to find the rest of the horcruxes. I mean, when they were in the cave, DD was speaking languages that Harry didnt understand and pulling invisible chains out of nowhere. How is Harry gunna do it? I have a feeling that DD's portrait will be important, but still...it can only do so much.
5. What will become of Hogwarts? i guess that it's gunna re-open, b/c there is the rumor or w/e you'd like to call it that a student will become a teacher. Will Harry go back or will he continue with his journey and just make visits to the school?
6. Last one. i promise. Do you think that the last book is still only gunna be over a span of a year or will it be more? i'm thinking that it still might only be a year, but i dont see how Harry could do everything he has to do in only one year. Or how jkr could finish the story in just one book...there's still so many loose ends to tie up.
