You know who will kill Snape because in book 4, Dumbledore asks Snape to go undercover as a Death Eater but You Know Who already knows Snape is working against him from the continues conversations between Snape and Professor Quirrell in the first book. As Quirrell says to Harry at the end of book 1, He thought I was alone, but I'm never alone and because You Know Who was joined to the back of Quirrells head, You Know Who had to hear the conversations between Snape and Quirrell.

Man, I wish people would carefully read the books before posting theories. It would answer a lot more questions before they are asked (i.e- Snape already responded to your assertion at the beginning of book 6)

Book 6. Snape explains your question and more to Bellatrix and Narcissa. And let's not forget that Snape is a very skilled Occlumens. The one alone who ha sbeen able to block dumbledore AND Voldemort out of his mind. Which is why he is such a good spy.
