in book 6 lupin tells harry to look into the book to see when the prince was at hogwarts. when he does this it says that it was 50 years ago and neither james nor any of james friends were enrolled at hogwarts during that time but.. at the end of the book snape admits that he was the half blood prince. how is this possible if as in the other books it is present that james and snape where in school at the same time. for example in the order of the pheonix harry goes into the pensive. where he sees james, sirius, peter, lupin AND severus sitting their O.W.L.'s together. and since it seems to be true that you only take O.W.L.'s in year six that means they were all in the same year. i know it seems kind of odd to notive that. but i dont understand that at all. is this an unintentional mistake or did i just miss something? it really starting to confuse me though. opinions...
