Earlier this week Breguet hosted a wonderful dinner for the Purists at LiBai Restaurant at Sheraton Towers, Singapore. It was a small intimate affair of three Chinese Dinner Tables (about 30 people) in a most tasteful function room.

The guests trickled in and everyone in true Purist form was immediately engrossed in watch talk. Here seen are Zach, Prof Wong Yew Wah, Duncan Wang and Larry Wee.

The ever cheerful and gregarious Cyndy Lim was our host for the evning and she welcomed everyone on behalf of Breguet.

Cyndy then invited Hour Glass's (Breguet's Authorised Dealer in Singapore) Michael Tay to say a few words - which he kind did - keeping his address very short!

The food for the evening was exquisite and I was so busy shooting watches and people, I forgot to record the wonderful tasting dishes! At least I caught Zach and Andrew studying in close detail the menu - with the same gusto as he would a watch manual!

Whilst dinner was proceeding of course there was lots of watch talk so I had to excuse myself to photograph the guests of honour for the evening - the wonderful Breguet pieces worn by collectors...

Dr Gordon Tan had on his Breguet tourbillion as well.

Then there was this watch. The owner asked to remain anonymous though!

Also seen here is a Vacheron (I think it belongs to Dr Wong) modelled here by Vernon. ??

It was a great evening of outstanding food and intriguing and informative conversations. My apologies for those whose wrist I missed! Also my sincere apologies if I had gotten any of the names wrong here.

I hope you enjoyed the pictorial report!

PS - If any one was wondering, I was deputised by Jaw to report on this dinner as he was off to a business trip at 2am that night and could not have his wonderful camera equipment to do the evening justice.
