Just got my type XX Transatlantique back from Boutique Breguet in NY where it was sent after one of the chrono button tops came off a few months after it was purchased from an AD. It was repaired under warranty free of charge in a couple of months. While attempting to set the time by gradually turning the winder gently backwards (having pulled it out to the time-setting position) in order to freeze the second hand as I used to do, I noticed that it no longer stops the second hand and that the minute hand alone turns backwards.
This method of setting the time used to work just fine - any ideas as to why it no longer does?
Have not had the watch back long enough to see if it still gains the 6-8 seconds per day that it used to, or if it has settled down.
