I am interested in purchasing a 3137 which is a moonphase calender type watch. Can anyone advise me whether one has to change the moonphase on a monthly basis or does one simply change the day of the month without affecting the moon calender. In other words is it possible to only change the day of the month when required once the watch has been set?
I am also curious as to whether the movement in this pc is any different from the 5707 which is the Reveil du Tsar

thanx

I don't understand your question. Once you set the moonphase I believe it should recyle with the lunar phase independent of the actual date of the month.

Because the lunar cycle is consistent, the only monthly adjustment you have to make is to the date when necessary.
