I didn't think it was that bad... I like Benny Parsons alot better than DW and Larry McReynolds. It was only their 3rd broadcast (Homestead in 1999 and 2000 were their first 2) They just had some technical difficulties, but only time will tell...

All the bells and whistles of modern-day NASCAR coverage are nice, but unnecessary.
However, what really pisses me off and makes me beat my wife are the friggin' commercials. Saturday night, commercial breaks came every four to six minutes. NBC needs to dig up the 'commercial-in-screen' that they invented last year. Otherwise, my wife ain't gonna live to see the Brickyard race.

I think that the NBC/TNT deal is not very good at all. I know that everything is about money these days but I would like to see a little bit of racing. I can't wait until next year when FOX has the first half back. Until then I will listen to the races on the radio and catch the clips on the news.

Jeez Russell, so you are not going to watch the race at all? I mean, I don't think that their coverage is that bad... You could listen to it on the radio and turn the sound down on your TV if you didn't like NBC that much and get more of an affect than not watching the TV at all.. Just seems silly to me because 15 years ago, every race wasn't on televsion like it is now...
