That is pretty funny. And at the same time, it's unacceptable. How pissed is the 31 team?!? To have some little dork crawling inside the car to install this crazy gadget, and then the thing blows up?!? You know that kid made himself scarce when he saw the smoke.
On the other hand, they've probably had 600 of these things installed without problems this year (Busch and Cup). So while it's unacceptable for these things to be a factor in the outcome, you can look at the big picture and see that they are effective.
