the boat is worth 3000 easy bottom line, 2500 is a STEAL dont do it, trust me. There are other sites to post that boat on, those things were made for only 2 years and are argueably the best surf ski out there, LUIS wait for MOMBO number 5 dont give that classic away
You are right, maybe the best surf boat in the world...and central Ontario is soooo well known for its surf...they are not the best boat for cruising the lake, they porpuse like a 550 and they are very small for going any distances, I wont even mention about there racing abilities, he put no money into it...take the $2000!
I just bought a 94 FX1 from a dealer in Toronto for $2800 in excellent shape.
Never rode one before, it's kinda frustrating (compared to my 96 GSX) but it sure is fun once you get standing. I bet it's great when you can really carve it.
They do porpoise A LOT though. Would a ride plate help stop the porpoising or should I just be buying a new (or newer) SuperJet since I'm 6'1 & 195lbs?

I have had no contact from "D", apparently he needed $500.00 to pick it up. Would prefer to sale to someone in Ontario, realistically selling across the boarder is too expensive.
As for the fellow with the 94 FX. Congratulations, you have an excellent machine, and yes a skid plate would help, but can effect your speed. Enjoy!!!
A '94 FX1 was my first 'ski. It is a great freestyle ski and the only reason I got out of it was to race. It looks like it is in perfect condition! I don't need another 'ski but I would be interested for nostalgic reasons, if I hadn't just picked up a new Kawi. I think 'Henn' needs to ride one see just how great a 'ski it is.
